Just finished the second interview yesterday. I was told I'd know in 3-5 days if I was selected for the third interview. Very discouraging. I saw some people said they were told the same thing but they haven't said if they actually got to the third interview

It took them 2 days to contact me .... just hold on to your horses over there ... the ride isnt over yet... LOL .... all kidding aside it is a constant nail biting process .... my wife laughed at me and scolded me all the time for refreshing my email on my phone ... LOL

LOL Thanks! You really calmed my nerves. I have never been so crazy over a freaking job before. When it took them a couple days to contact you was that after your 2nd or 3rd interview?

Edit- I saw where you said they sent you an email the day after your 2nd interview. lol

Did the recruiter give you a potential start date? Make sure they know your BGC is done so it doesn't delay. Unless you have another interview.

Yeah she told me April 28th. Should I give her a call?

I would, because the paperwork process takes a while and you have to schedule a day to go over the paperwork in a group conference call. Plus you have to send your paper work back in via FedEx so, it will cut down to the wire if its only weeks away.

Did you call yours? I see you got hired

I tend to not bug people, it looks bad, so I waited....but with the timing of the length of the BGC it delayed me starting. Originally I was supposed to be good to go for the 31st of march class but I was told with the timing, I would have to wait till there was another class.....But thank the heavens they called back same day and said April 21st.

I found this site AFTER I had already applied and had 1st interview.

I was looking for jobs I would work at home and found out about the Apple At Home Advisor position. I have very little technical background or knowledge of Apple products, but I have a lot of customer service and technical experience with just about everything else. So I figured "What the heck?" and applied.

Two days later I got an email and call from recruiter and had a very friendly and lengthy chat with her. She seemed very impressed with both technical and customer service experience and made comment about my resume and cover letter being impressive.

I already have 2nd interview set up for next week. I'm feeling pretty confidant about it, but I am trying to brush up on the common questions asked. So I found this site and here I am. :)

I will say this...THEY LOVE ENTHUSIASM! If you act excited about wanting to learn, they seem impressed.

I had my second interview, on FaceTime, recently. I am waiting to hear if I go on to number 3.

I was asked technical questions regarding Apple products. I was not asked a lot of customer service questions at all. I think it depends on the person you have your second interview with. I would go back and look at all the chat on this thread, including the first thread on this subject.

My first interview with the recruiter was very laid back, chatty and low key. The second one was not what I expected, much harder, no feedback and I stumbled a bit.

Study, and be prepared. I studied the different questions I had seen on here and, believe it or not ,I didn't get one of those during my interview.

Nervous

I just had my first interview over the phone Monday. I kinda stumbled because I wasn't expecting an interview I was just expecting someone to tell me when my interview will be. I have my 2nd interview next week via FaceTime, can anyone give me some tips on how to answer questions. Like if you can just post the questions you were asked and how you answered them. I'm just really nervous because I don't want to fail this opportunity.

Go to the first page of this thread, and there is a link to the thread before that. I don't think it would be smart or helpful to tell you what questions I was asked. If you use apple products know exactly how they work, and how you would explain that to others. Be prepared for personal questions. I had two. The interview, frankly, was unlike any I have ever had before. I have heard they have a whole lot of recruiters. I have also read on here that there are a whole lot of different personalities between them. The person who interviewed me seemed to be really smart technically. Because people here had said they got basic questions and mostly Customer Service that's what I was expecting. I know the basics on all my Apple products, but the person who interviewed me seem to be very technically advanced and less customer service oriented. I, on the other hand, am just the opposite. I have years of customer service experience, but could use some teaching and education on tech. I think I could learn it, but the question is does Apple think that? We will see.

My background check was completed a week ago today but I still haven't heard anything from Apple. Should I be worried?

It seems to be MUCH easier to get a phone call for the phone's position, but as far as chat I don't know that I have seen anyone get a call back for that position yet.. but the wait is KILLING ME!

I SO wish I could apply for phone's but the chat position is the only one that offers graveyard schedule and graveyard is the only thing that would work for me. Since from what I've heard they aren't very flexible with your schedule... you just get what you get. :(

Unfortunately there is no graveyard shift. Apple Care closes in the evening and opens back up in the morning.

I know what you mean. I'm in the same boat. The chat position would be great because I wouldn't have to worry about child care or flexibility. I hope they call soon.

I applied for the AHA student position and had my facetime interview yesterday. I received an email from recruiting a few hours later asking me to update my online profile and complete my official employment application. They also asked me to complete the candidate privacy consent form. Does this mean anything? Haha

I am not a student so I am not sure. I updated my online profile and completed my application prior to my second (Facetime) interview. Did they set up a third interview for you or do you not have to have one if you are a student?

I have heard that there is only one interview for the student position, but I'm not sure if that's always the case. I don't know whether that email was a good sign or not!
