Cool! Congratulations! What were you hired for? iOS? iTunes?
I think I'm being recruited for iOS, but I'm not sure. That's just where most of their questions have been geared so far.

Awesome. Maybe we will be in the same class! Did you do three interviews? What would you say your third FaceTime interview was like?
My second interview (facetime) was pretty cool. It was hard to read my recruiter, but I just focused on empathy and trying meet the customer's needs first... I guess I did pretty well because I got moved on to the next step.
I'm super nervous about the third one coming up next week.
I just received an email to submit my official application in my apple jobs profile. My FaceTime interview was two days ago and I think that is likely my only interview.
I guess the next thing to occur is to expect a call from a manager with their decision?

I just got a call. I got it!!!! Yayyyy I am asked to do the background check.

I applied for the aha student position and got an email to do the background check on Monday and it says it was completed on Wednesday. Does anyone know when Apple will call or email? Is anyone doing the student program and knows when training starts?
Congrats to you!!!! I knew you'd get it. Now you can relax lol. I can't wait to knock these last 2 interviews out and join the NOT REFRESHING MY EMAILS EVERY 2 SECONDS group lol.

I had my two interviews on HireVue... They said that it was something new that they were using. As far as questions - there really wasn't anything more helpful to me than this forum! It was a true life saver, I studied it right up until my interviews began and it ended up working out in my favor!
Congrats to you too! I thought no one was ever going to hear back about the chat position, it took a while! And thanks, I've been going through all the pages and a few other sites. I'm like one of those people who learn wayyyyyy more than I need to to feel ready. I guess i'm there. Are you just waiting on paperwork now?
Thank you! I'm very excited - I think there were 3 of us on here that were waiting for this Chat position and I am so glad the waiting game is finally over! Now it's just waiting for June 30th to get started!

New to the forum. I've been reading it all week. Monday I received a call from the recruiter and she moved me on to the next interview. I'm so nervous. I am familiar with ios because I had an iphone 5 and an ipod but I've never had a Mac. I'm hoping they ask me IOS related questions. I'll be stalking this forum for the next few days. My Hirevue interview is Monday morning. Oh, I'm interviewing for the Graveyard chat position, too.

My interview was through HireVue. I felt all the recruiters and interviewers skipped technical questions even though I have a lot of technical experience. The questions they asked me were NOT even closeeee to what I read on these forums. I was asked what would you do if apps don't work after a restore from iCloud? and there was a question about airplane mode and that is about it but that was the 2nd interview. 3rd interview the only tech question was about explaining wifi and how to tell if devices are connected to wifi.

so this will likely be one of my last posts .... Don't be so nervous it will be just like the other two .... scenarios , a few technical questions and a few minutes of get to know you ... DON'T OVER THINK IT !!!!!! I was nervous too but after I finished it I knew I had it in the bag !!!!!
Just keep your head screwed on straight and remember EMPATHY !!!!

Today is the fourth day, test was submitted on the 9th. Still no response.

Same thing happened to me, I scheduled the interview at 3:00PM Central Time - which should have been 2:00PM MST. But they called me through FaceTime at 1:00! Luckily I was home, if not I would've been screwed.
So I just received an email today from HireRight to fill out my BGC. But I haven't received any word that I'm hired. So is it safe to say that it's leaning more towards a yes?
Btw, I've only had one interview and that was through FaceTime.
Yes, if you get the HireRight email and everything passes on your background check then you've pretty much got the job! Congrats!
