Anyone else have a LONG wait after 3rd Interview?
Hi All,
So I'm getting a little nervous... I had my third interview by FaceTime on 4/16. It went really well (at least I thought), and the interviewer said he was bringing my info and ratings on up to the hiring managers and I should hear about the next steps within a week. Well, after a week was up (last Wednesday), I sent an email to my recruiter as just a "follow-up" and to reiterate my interest.
I got an email back the same day saying they were still in the decision making process and she would let me know as soon as they had information.
I am being recruited for the 5/19 class, so I am getting nervous and feeling like I'm running out of time here. I'm at 11 days post interview now... and haven't heard anything, but then again, I haven't gotten the dreaded "thanks for playing" email either.
So what gives? Anyone else go through this? And is this a situation where no news is good news?

Hi guys! To those who made it past the 3rd interview, did you guys get a phone call or an email for the background check?
I feel pretty good about it. We will see. I was asked a couple customer service related questions and a couple technical questions. I'm not a technical expert or anything but I was able to answer their questions. I did not study any computer knowledge. The questions they asked were geared towards IOS more than anything else.
Apple have opened up a position near my home town, which is far away from my college, Should I also apply for it near my home town due to the fact I will be there during the summer/Seasonal Times or should the city where my college be be enough?

Any college applicants still waiting on a response after receiving the background check? It says mine has completed already, and now I'm waiting to hear from Apple. It just seems really close to the end of school for, and there seems to be paperwork that needs to be done if hired.

I am too. Are you doing phone or chat? How are you going to work with the kids after that? I'm debating whether I can work without a sitter due to the noise when I start part time.
Thank god for this forum/discussion. Reading your responses/comments have calmed my nerves a bit. I'm applying for the AHA position as well and waiting for a response from the recruiter. I believe I'm near the end of the hiring process; background check completed last week, just waiting on recruiter to officially offer me the job or reject me.... (sigh).

Hey congrats! If you're BGC is good, you should get the job! Did you apply for phone or chat?
I believe it's the phone position (I actually applied for both though).
I hope background is good; don't have any criminal past/etc but had to send W2s for a previous employer. I viewed the report after it was completed and it didn't include any verification on my degree and one of the employers I listed. Don't know if HireRight isn't checking degrees or they only look at the past 3 employers (4th employer was from almost 8 yrs ago). Just hope I get an offer, lol!
Congrats none the less! HireRight checked three employers and did not verify my education (even though I do have a degree). Everything checked out on my end and i was moved on to the next step!
Congratulations on getting that far! I'm sure you have it since they wanted you to do the BGC. I completed my 3rd interview the 25th. Did you receive a call from the recruiter letting you know they want to do a BGC or did you just get an email?
The recruiter called me about 2 or 3 days after the third interview telling me that I'd be receiving an email from HireRight later that day. Since you interviewed on the 25th (a friday), I'd wait and see if you got a callback tonight or tomorrow.

I feel stupid for asking this, but how do you know if it's a chat position or phone position?? I applied for one that just says "At Home Advisor - AppleCare." I prefer a chat position since I have children, are there normally chat positions posted that state that is what they are? TIA!
Does anyone know if you're a military spouse working for AHA, and husband got orders to Germany..would I still be able to work AHA overseas?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone was recently hired for this position through kellyconnect and how long do you wait for the BGC to clear???? I've applied and went through the hiring process and I'm getting antsy about the wait for the background check be it that I have submitted that April 18th.... please help!!!!
Have you checked Hireright website to see if there is something you need to provide; like w2 or employment verification? They are really thorough with the employment history
