Well I didn't apply through them but through kellyconnect.... which still has the postings available but I have found my recruiters number and will be calling him in the morning *fingers crossed* but I should be OK because I don't have a background

I feel stupid for asking this, but how do you know if it's a chat position or phone position?? I applied for one that just says "At Home Advisor - AppleCare." I prefer a chat position since I have children, are there normally chat positions posted that state that is what they are? TIA!

The chat position title specifically says "At Home Chat Advisor-AppleCare" so more than likely you applied for the phone job.

After a week and a half since my BGC was completed... I FINALLY got my call today with my official offer!
Expecting my paperwork tomorrow or the next day!

June 30th Chat Training Class!
From what I hear from my friend who does iTunes chat, we're all gonna become really close!

It was exactly a week I believe

Hopefully that means that I get my call today.... lol.

Really want to get a response as soon as possible so that I can know if I need to start pursuing other options. Need to find work by the end of the month.

if i were you i would start looking for other options now. one thing ive noticed about apple is they like to take their sweet time in contacting people, so i would just look elsewhere until you have a solid job offer from them

Long time lurker posting! My third interview is next week and I'm super excited. I'm not sure what I'll possibly be working with (be it Chat or iOS) but the training would start on the 23rd of June.

My family just moved back to the US from Europe and this would definitely be a welcomed additional source of income for us.

The interview questions were pretty simple as well
such and such just got off a plane and would like to send emails...

customer dropped iPad on their wedding day. What would you say to the customer...

Sally wants to send and receive emails to her phone which would be best for her IMPA or POP..

Pretty simple stuff so far! This entire experience has taken maybe 3 weeks so far after applying in April.

week 1- apply
week 2- 10-15 minute phone call/set up 2nd interview via Facetime
Week 3- Facetime interview

now week 4 (next week on the 6th of may) will be the final interview. I can't wait to see what happens!

3rd Interview for AHA

I have my third interview next week and i'm very nervous! Any input on what to expect? They said the training would start in June, so i'm guessing it's the same team as most of you :) *fingers crossed*

I guess even if I don't make it, I should be pretty proud I've made it this far. What an amazing opportunity!! Congrats to all!

This has been a major help in my quest for a career at Apple , I have a 3rd interview next week , Anyone who has had a 3rd interview what kind of questions do they ask ? Is it similar to the 2nd ? In terms of roleplay and technical question ?

Also i applied for Full time but they are only offering part time , has anyone ever transferred into full time .. And are you recent 3rd interviewees going for part time or full time ?

Thank you for any advice

Yeah, I'm just trying to hold off a bit because I'd prefer to work from home and the recruiter said training starts at the end of the month . Already turned down another customer service position that was suppose to start next week, mainly because they paid less and the long commute. It's been a week (today) since the BGC was completed, but if I don't hear anything before the middle of the month, I'll restart my job hunt.

From what what the recruiter told me, all the available positions they're filling right now are pretty much PT but there will be times it switched to FT, like during the holidays and during product releases.

I'm not sure yet, I still have to have my third interview.

Oh okay. Yeah if my third interview goes well I'd be in the June 23rd class. I was told that the third interview would be more tech-related. Do you have the questions available to you? if not here are some that I gathered

Explain to me what RAM is as if I'm a 10 y/o kid?

What is iCloud? (explain it like you would to a child)

Say I call in and I'm at a coffee shop on my iPad and I don't know how to access the internet, walk me through the process you would troubleshoot in iOS?

Say I'm still at that coffeeshop and I deleted one of my apps on my iPad, would I have to pay for the app again or can I re-download the app without connecting my iPad to iTunes?

Say I go to turn on my monitor but nothing is turning on, what are the basic things you would check? Answer Question
What is RAM and how does it work?

If I bought a bigger hard drive, why would it not speed up my computer?

If I was at a friends house trying to get online, what are some things I would troubleshoot?

If a USB device isn't working, what would you check?

Say I call up and I'm having email issues, I'm able to receive but not send email, what would you troubleshoot?

If my computer isn't turning on, what are the 3 basic things you would check?

If my computer isn't booting up, what would you do?

I hope this helps
