I was told during my first recruiter call , and the last call for the background check ..

It was confirmed at every interview and again before the hire right email was sent. I think it varies based on the cost of living area. Also, it wouldn't be prudent for anyone who is currently or hoping to be hired, to share that info. Perhaps someone who is no longer in that situation will PM you but that is definitely not something to be shared.

Just contact your recruiter.

I did my background check on Friday and the recruiter called me back on Monday to let me know that everything cleared and that I got the job.
 
So I didnt submit a cover letter how critical is this? I think im going to submit to a few more today closer to my area.

Thank you for responding. I just had my second interview via FaceTime. He said they get together at the end of the week to see if the candidates move on. Does that mean I'm not selected?

I wonder how early in the year you were offered the job, because when I was offered a position in the past I was unable to do training since I had something scheduled during those first 2 weeks. They never offered to put me in another class (I assumed they didn't have another class).[/QUOTE]

This is all recently. But different recruiter will do different things I guess. Everyone's process is different

I was told after my 3rd interview they there were 8 other candidates and i'd hear something back in 1-2 weeks. I was called back the next day..:) Just be calm and patient. They wont leave you hanging.

It was the same for me. I completed it on Saturday night and received a call late Monday.

At the end of the 2nd interview I was told that I would be moving on with the process and was given info on scheduling my 3rd interview.

After the 3rd I was told I'd hear something within 1-2 weeks. She called back within a couple of days to offer the job

I guess I will share my short lived experience...

I applied back in February and FINALLY recieved a call from a recruiter yesterday. I was at work so I had to call her back. I called back and she answered right away and began telling me about the position she was going to set me up for. She said that it wasn't exactly what I had applied for but she was going to see if I was still interested. It was a full time Chat position (which is EXACTLY what I want) however instead of being graveyard shift, it was day time shift... and when she said this, my heart dropped! Basically, I had to decline because I'm not as flexible for day time shift as I am the graveyard! I was so so disappointed! However she said that if the graveyard shift opened up again she would call me back and said that they are pretty good about followups and also mentioned that since I have her number I could call her back if I see the position opens again. SO I guess the waiting game begans. There is no telling when that opportunity will come up again! I asked and she said that you never know one day it's not open and the next it is.
I'm just glad that I've at least got my foot in the door now!

I am in the same boat. Just trying to find a job that will fit with me, and I feel like Apple will be a great opportunity. And she did let me know that if my schedule becomes more flexible just to give her a call. She was very very pleasant and nice.
I feel the same, I cannot wait until it is my turn! Who knows maybe we will finally get in and be on the same team :) Good luck to you too!

Just applied for fulltime AHA itunes chat! I have tech and customer service experience! Lots! Hoping to hear back. It is out of St.Louis! Wish me luck.

If you look at the apple job page they just posted this iTunes chat position in 4 different cities on May 13th. Looks to me as if its getting close if you applied a bit ago! GL
 
I have my 3rd interview today, however it is for the at home advisor position and I would honestly much prefer a chat position. Anyone have any advice on how to bring this up today tactfully?
