cover letter

Does anyone know if you can attach a cover letter AND a resume in the upload spot? Or is the only cover letter option the one that stays in your profile for all the jobs?

The cover letter section is for the cover letter and the upload section is for the resume. If you tried to upload a cover letter to the resume section, instead of displaying 2 documents, it would just replace the first document you uploaded. They do have additional upload buttons if you want to attach more than one resume though.

THANK YOU!!! Just what I thought. :apple:
I updated my cover letter after I applied. I hope they still read it!

The vast majority of interview questions on this forum are for regular iOS AHA interviews.

Can anyone who has interviewed for itunes chat PM me with interview questions that were asked?

Still Waiting

Recruiter called me back (finally) and offered me the position contingent on the background, of course. So I checked my dates for previous employment and shouldn't have a problem. There isn't a number to verify my military service but I do have my DD214 handy just in case they ask for it! Ready for June 23rd already!!:D

I finished my 3rd interview exactly a week ago and still haven't heard anything back yet. They said two weeks but I'm getting so anxious. It should be for the June 23rd class also and I was curious how long it took before you received a phone call offering you the job? Or if anyone else had to wait this long? Thanks!

Hey,
Its not letting me send PM to your account bc your account is too new I think. Does his first name start with M? :)

BTW, Apple monitors and tracks this forum. At least one person who was on here was terminated last fall from their AHA postion bc of items she posted on this forum. PM is best if you can.

You can email me too ... my macrumors username at yahoo

Let me answer a popular question to clear up some clutter on this thread.

I've waited ____ (amount of time) since my ____ interview and I havent heard back yet. (What do I do?) or (how long did it take for you?) or (is this a bad sign?).

The answer is, everyone has and will have a different reply time. I know you guys are anxious, but you need to be patient. If you really feel that sense of urgency, just email the recruiter and ask the status of your hiring or interview. They will fill you in. Again, I know we are all excited for this, but being constantly worrying on here isn;t going to help for the initial reason I mentioned above.

Three interviews, a background check and time in between each. These guys are busy and if classes start a good while from your interview, the response time will also have a gap. BE PATIENT.

Did you have to wait longer than 2 weeks to hear back? I am also supposed to be in the class but still waiting to hear back. My 3rd interview was on May 12th.

Yeah it took FOREVER to hear back. Get this... my THIRD interview was on April 16. Yes. April. It took over 3 weeks to hear anything back. I was informed that the training class I was being recruited for was full, but they wanted me to go to a later class (June 23). I had to do ANOTHER interview May 12. Got through that. Just got the call yesterday! :)

Just hold out. The fact that you haven't gotten the "Thanks for playing" email means you're still in the game. You'll hear something soon!

My application/interview/hiring process so far through KellyConnect

Okay, so I applied through either Indeed or Simply Hired a couple of weeks ago. I got a phone call the following Monday asking me to do the Questionnaire and typing test. I hadn't gotten around to it right away but apparently they were interested enough in me that they called me first.

Within 24 hours of submitting the questionnaire I got an email with a link to select a phone interview time. I did the interview the next day. It went really well...and I actually tried to sell the recruiter an Apple Care plan during the role play, lol.

I did my interview first thing in the morning and by the end of the day I got a Congratulations email with a link to fill out information online. The next day (this morning) I got a phone call regarding sending my I-9. That process should be done by tomorrow. They also send out the background check already and that should be back any time. I was told that I will be providing support for iPods and will be receiving a Mac computer, iPod and iPod Touch. I'm pretty sure the training starts sometime in the middle of June, but I don't know the exact date.

After reading much of the comments here and all the levels of interviews and such it sounds like I have had it really easy. I would have preferred to go directly through Apple but didn't realize I would not be switching to permanent with Apple and would instead be a Kelly employee. That being said...if anyone tries through Apple and isn't getting anywhere, perhaps try KellyConnect instead. The process seems much faster.

So in all...this whole process from applying to being officially hired is going to have taken me about 3 weeks or so.

Just bear in mind that Kelly takes a cut of the pay rate. If you're picked up directly though Apple, the rate is always 1-2 dollars more.

This is based on things I've read in these forums.

Yes, I figured this out a couple of days ago. On the plus side I will be working full time right off the bat and based on how eager they have been to move me through the process quickly I'm guessing that I will be able to advance more quickly. I would prefer a bit more money but I do appreciate how quickly and simple the process has been. That's the trade-off, I suppose.

AHA Foreign language advisor

I have my video interview next week and was told in the first 10 minute interview that I was going to be doing mostly E-mail support since i'll be working with a different countries customers, rather than English speaking. Does anyone else do this, or know what it's like to be an AHA for a different language? I was told I may get a few calls, but just wondering what it may actually be like :)

I'm really nervous about the next video interview, but hope it goes well! I've been researching and taking notes to prepare myself since yesterday (when I had my first interview).

Actually, kelly pays $10 to $11 per hour and apple (no middleman) is paying $15 to $18 (non-college positions) per hour. So, it's way more then $1-$2 per hour more. Also, no benefits through Kelly from the people I've talked to.

Apple has a ton of benefits though!
