You should not be posting on these forums if you are hoping to work at Apple... They would fire you in a heart beat if they ever found out. There are indirect methods to figure those things out.

I noticed that Apple has reposted the AHA jobs up on it's jobs website. Does anyone know if recruiters tend to make their first cold contact with an applicant in batches or is it totally random. Im just curious because I have not seen many postings from people who have gotten their first call from a recruiter in awhile now.

Hi!

Last week I submitted an application for the at home advisor position and have yet to receive any contact. Judging by the posts here, callbacks range from a few days to a few months. Does anyone have any insight into their selection process? I have PLENTY of experience, and I made certain to highlight customer service skills in my resume and cover letter. I suppose I simply want to ensure I haven't missed anything that would make any difference.

Thanks!

I wish I knew! My s-i-l applied for both aha and aha team manager last week and hasn't heard anything yet. I would really love for her to get it.

Got my HireRight e-mail today...filled out and submitted.

Still don't know what specialty/group I'm in...lol - don't care though

Hey iGirl -

Just wondering what your timeline has been for the chat position (when you applied, called for first phone interview, etc.). Thanks. Good luck on your interview. I'm sure you'll do great. :)

I originally applied about a year ago with just my resume, but went back in on the 13th and answered all of the questions in every section on the 13th and received my first call on the 17th. Thanks, I hope so! :)

good luck igirl
did they mention when the training begins?
and do you remember under which location you applied for?

Thank you!
Training starts November 4th
That was probably one of the most intense interviews I've ever experienced but the interviewer was incredibly friendly.

Has anyone on here ever applied and gotten through one or two interviews only to be turned down and then reapply later and get another chance to interview?

Do you think they keep records of people they have interviewed in the past say for more then a year?

Lastly is the recommended method of getting noticed by a recruitor simply making a bunch of Apple ID's and applying multiple times?

Thanks for the advice everyone!

Thanks for replying! Yeah, I've been out of work for the past several months -- since my previous employer shut their offices -- so I wish I knew what I could do to speed up the process a bit... I guess I'll simply need to be patient.

Congrats on getting hired, though! :D

HireRight website says complete...*just keep waiting...just keep waiting*

What position are you hired for and when is your start date? I have my third interview soon and I'm so nervous, but I hope that I make it to the point where I can obsessively check my HireRight status too lol

I don't know what position as far as group. All I've been told is PT AHA starting November 3rd.

Good luck on the third interview! That one stressed me out the most. I think because it was with a direct apple person. ...and my son chose that morning to be sick and clingy.

I expected HireRight to take much longer to complete. Now I'm obsessively waiting for my recruiter to call with the "official offer".

I may need therapy after all this is done....I'm thinking a pint of cookies and cream
