Got the rejection email. So bummed. :( Does anyone know of anyone other than Kelly that hires for this position? I figure I'll get my foot in the door and apply at a later date. Good luck to the rest of you.

Concentrix hires for this position and is hiring right now. Heads up, the pay is stated on the listing as under $10/hour.

Thank you. Could you tell me where to find this? I did go to their website but I only see customer care rep and doesn't seem like it's Apple

That's the one. I don't know if you're on Work Place Like Home, but it is posted there and on WAHM.com as well as a few 9 there work from home websites. It doesn't say Apple on their website, but on the other sites it's confirmed to be Apple.

Thanks! I appreciate the help! :D

Oh no! I'm sorry! I say create a new Apple ID and try again - some people have had luck that way. Now you have an idea what to expect...

Took your advice and created a new Apple ID and applied to each and every posting from Sept 19th. Hoping that they don't already have me as a "no" throughout the entire system and I can possibly get a different recruiter. Don't think I really had an interview in the first place.. was more told about the position than anything.

Crossing my fingers for you. I've read this entire thread (yes all 71 pages) and some people just get a bad initial recruiter. Based on my experience you should have been asked a few customer service related questions.

On a side note...I got my official offer! Whew!

Apple At-Home Advisor

Good evening. I'm wondering if there are any Apple At-Home Advisors that can answer a few questions for me.

What's the job security with an At-Home Advisor? We just had our first born and I'm a little scared to take the leap into another career.

Are the training exams difficult to pass? I heard if you fail one, you're out.

Any and all information, tips, and insight will be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Ed

i don't think you'll find anyone currently working for apple ok with answering this
perhaps past employees
sorry

Hey Wink,
Just so you know the 71 pages is a continuation of the first thread at:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1120467/

It's 450 pages and I've read all of them PLUS the 71 pages here.

So, if you really want to read some interesting stuff that includes:

- Lots of drama from employee's
- More detailed info about the position from employee's
- Info on stats, requirements and other detailed insider info
- One grumpy employee that spills the beans on a regular basis
- Questions and answers to a lot of the questions that are asked in the interview

and much, much more then I would suggest you read the original section as well at the link above. ;-)

Joey

Thanks Joey! I have skimmed the first part prior to this thread, but didn't have the stamina to read all the posts! I do appreciate the people who got this started :)

Anybody currently in the process for the November training? I just had my first FT interview and she told me I would know by this Tuesday if I was going to move on...

The majority of the people on this forum are for the AHA position and not for a retail position. The AHA position does NOT allow employees to talk about their job at all on this forum. This is stated on the FIRST day of training. They also state this very forum is off limits and you can be fired for posting anything on this forum related to the position.

I do not know if the retail position makes you sign a NDA though.

Their have been a lot of people with similar opinions to yours over the last few years on the forum that did not take the NDA serious and are no longer with the company.

So, regardless if you agree with it or not it's real and apple has employees who sole job is to watch this very forum for violations. The proof is in the fact that several people have been fired for posting to this forum.

So, there is some food for thought.

Joey

Um this is for a retail job at the mall not corporate office underground where they're coming up with all future Apple products and all the secrets are kept..

Interesting. Thanks for clearing that up.
