I applied for Atlanta, GA. BC completed on 10/04, originally slated for 10/29 and finally got my call today and now in the 11/5 class.
I did not expect a call today and actually missed the call! My recruiter stated it's taking a little longer than usual. If you haven't received the rejection email yet..all is still good.

im in the ATL region as well, i really hope that wasnt the only opening
so the check was completed on 10/4 or is that when you submitted the form to start it?

I submitted my info for the BC on 09/28 and it was completed on 10/04. I doubt there is just one opening in ATL but if so there is one for Kennesaw as well.im in the ATL region as well, i really hope that wasnt the only opening

oh ok. i didnt submit my BC info until 10/3 so i guess i should relax for a few days.
You might want to relax for a bit more than a few days!
only reason i am really nervous is because i start a different job next monday and id hate to look bad quitting a week into the job because i got the apple gig. i want it far more than the other job.
Oh yes! You might want to. I called HireRight each day for a status. I used to be a recruiter..I should really know better..lol
My lady (who was downstairs) heard when I read this post and realized that hovering around my phone and checking it every 10-15 minutes all day had been futile for this reason.
Now, to not hyperventilate every time my phone rings...
Believe me that happens more than you would think. I know you probably don't want to be the one who does that but it happens. Were you upfront with them and let them know you were currently interviewing other jobs at the time?
apple or the company im about to start work for? i havent officially signed anything for the other company, i have to bring forms to orientation next Monday. if apple calls me anytime this week with an offer im going to let the other job know about the whole situation. dont want to burn bridges...

I was asking about the other company. Whenever I interviewed people, I always asked them if they were currently interviewing with other companies so I could provide that info to the hiring manager because one, that sometime makes them move faster if they don't want to miss out and you take a different job or two if you do take the job that makes them aware there might be an offer out there that will change your mind.
Just keep it professional and be honest and you won't burn bridges. A company will do what's in their best interest and you should do the same for yourself.
I applied on 09/15 which was a Saturday and received the questionnaire on that Monday the 17th
they must of waited until close to then to send out questionnaires. i applied in late august and get a questionnaire on the 15th. ive had 3 interviews since then and now the BC that started 10/3.
ive never been so on edge about something before.
my third interview was last tuesday so it hasnt been all that long since the last time i talked to them.
Apple is open today my recruiter emailed me an answer to my questions. I also started my new job today and have NO problem quitting if iget the Apple call. It's all about priorities! I also hope getting pushed back doesn't put me in an even later class then 11/5

ill probably email my recruiter wednesday or thursday if i still havent heard anything. im starting my move to atlanta tomorrow so hopefully that will keep my mind off all this
