Those of you who have already got past this point, I have a question for you. I got my job offer call and am EAGERLY awaiting the email. Has anyone gotten the offer call, after BGC & interviews, and NOT gotten the email? I know I probably have nothing to worry about, but this waiting... it's slowly killing me from the inside out, lol...

PS. Congratulations to EVERYONE here who have advanced forward. Super excited to meet you all! :)

I am eagerly awaiting my email offer as well and know the anxiety. I got my verbal phone offer on 10/17 but no email yet....still waiting...:apple:

It took 3 days to get my email offer

So has anyone figured out their pay tiers? Is it based on location, experience, or both?

Anyone who applied in the Columbus, Ohio area have any information?

Congrats! I knew you'd get it. I guess I'll be seeing you in class!

Got my offer call yesterday, and my official offer email today! Less than a days wait.

Don't worry, you guys already got the call, it's just a slightly less stressful waiting game now.

I know its CPU.. ft/ pt not sure.. could of mentioned it but I was in Target slightly distracted & excited lol I will find out for sure when I get the email!
But I do remember the salary which is not shabby at all lol!

Yes I was starting to worry lol... But yes will definitely see you in class! And all the other 11/26-ers

I've been following this forum since last Friday (since I received email for background check). My back ground check has just completed and now waiting very , very anxiously if I made it or not.

Your date looked identical to mine, so I was very very anxiously waiting for offer call....hopefully the day comes soon:apple:

Well, congrats to all the 11/26 class :D I got the offer call today (I missed it yesterday and only heard the voice mail lol) and I got the email today as well. As to the pay I think that education and experience has a lot to do with it....location not so much and I say this base on my offer. I do have a question for those who got the offer....when are we suposed to get the land line? and what are the recommendations of service?:confused:

This would truly be a blessing to me and my family. As it gets me back into the "IT scene" while being able to make efficient use of my time with no commute.

Only thing I wish I did different was include my Mac experience in my resume. Honestly, it's been awhile since I've touched a Mac so I sort of feel like I would be fibbing if I listed it as a main feature of my experience. But from what I've read, this isn't necessarily a deal breaker to begin with.

Hopefully I get a response which will allow me to go into detail about my experiences in the IT field. I actually own a NeXTStep Turbo, which is the company Jobs started after leaving Apple. Mac OSX is actually partially based on the NeXTStep OS. Being mostly a PC guy, after the release of OSX I had a new found respect for Apple since then.

Though, I feel I might be setting myself up for a HUGE disappointment if I don't hear anything and/or are denied in the next 2 months.

Past Mac experience is not a requirement, in fact, many in my training class including myself had zero Mac experience going in. A wise rodent said this job is more about fixing the customer than it is the equipment and doing real IT work.

I had my paperwork session call today and got everything sent off today.

Now, I am ready to start work on 11/5.

For those of you look at chairs and desks, they say to wait until you first day of work to decide on what to get.

They will have a complete session on what you need to get.
