I got my offer call!!! Whoot whoot! ... 11/26 class here I come! I'm so excited! Can't believe it!
So, I don't know if anyone else watched the KeyNote from earlier today, but that new iMac looks amazing!
What do you think the chances are that us 11/26 people will be getting the newest generation of the iMacs?
I hope the 11/5 class get's it.
I hope so too for y'all's sake. All they specified was that it would ship November. No date. Fingers crossed!

Slim to none. First of all, they send out refurbs, secondly, why on earth would they send an iMac that will probably be in short supply when they'll have warehouses full of the older model?
I've got my third interview today and while I wasn't that nervous yesterday, the nerves are starting to set in.
I'm strong in customer service and think I know my tech okay, but BOY this means so much to me...I guess that's what's getting me right now.
In interview 1 & 2 they said part time, 11/26. But considering IF I pass today's interview there would still be HireRight to get through, I am wondering if 11/26 would be full by that point. My dream of course is for them to say "oh we want you for this other class, and by the way, it's full time." (hey, dream big, right?)
Anyway, I will be happy if I can get ANYTHING with Apple.
I had my 3rd interview yesterday afternoon. I was just about jumping out of my skin until the call started. I was told it was a part time position with training starting 11/26. My interview was relatively late in the work day and went very well I think. Laid back but straight to the point. I'm hoping to get the HireRight email soon. So universe if you're listening......

We got a one day notice on the schedule change. We were told earlier in the week that we'd be full time until Jan. but I think they realized that they over-hired and cut everyone to 20 hours. The change made some ppl happy and others concerned about their budgets.
So begins another day of waiting for me...12 days since HireRight completed bgc. I was told a start date of 11/5 when I interviewed, but now know that's not going to happen. I'm hoping I am going to be placed in a later class and not just given the boot.

We got word a couple of days ago that we'll be working our part-time shifts out of nesting. As you know, it's been averaging about 8 minutes between calls. iOS is definitely capped out. Can't see them hiring any time soon with all the full-timers and part-timers (available at a whim for full-time). Folks are anxious to request additional hours. Perhaps it would be better if not strictly assigned to the iPhone queue for 90 days out of nesting.
I'm hoping they'll let us start taking iPod and iPad (basically all iOS) pretty soon. Maybe hours will increase, maybe not. I do know that on Saturday mornings, I'm fielding iPad calls along with iPhone ones. I guess I messed up by applying at Apple in July instead of Aug. Had I waited I probably would be working full time in the CPU group.... assuming I got through the interviews as easily as I did with iOS.
Check out the CPU cue on the monsterboard when you get a chance, they're getting slammed.
Reapplied 10/15
10/16 Recieved questionairre from will later that day, filled out and recieved a call later that day. Was told he would call back when there were interviewers available.
10/18 called him and asked him if there was any progress and was told that the position I applied for wasn't in my location. I told him the position I applied for (Philadelphia) was for the questionairre that I recieved. He checked into it and apologized. I was told that he would be in touch.
10/22 I sent him an email asking if there was any progress but no response yet.
I have over 6 years in technical and customer support so I'm not too sure why the long hold up.
Nothing I can do but just wait and see if he responds, if not, it was worth a shot
