I just want to say how amazing this forum has been.. so supportive and helpful.

Who all is in the 11/12 class? I haven't seen too many post that they are in 11/12 (CPU). I'm starting to think my call was a dream, lol. No offer email yet... call was on monday.

What is the average turn around time for the email?

Citychic, what day did your offer call come in on?
And what time today did your email come in?
Just hopeful that mine still might come tonight.. they said wednesday..

Thanks!

Looks like we are in the same class and the same boat waiting for our email. I guess they bumped me to CPU after being set for IOS.

I am slated for the 11/12 CPU class also. I'm still waiting on my email offer as well but received my offer call last Wednesday. I emailed the lead HR recruiter that conducted my 2nd interview last night and he responded today and said he was forwarding the info to someone else in HR who would follow up with me (hopefully soon). Just hoping something hasn't slipped thru the cracks and they offered it to someone else since I know we have to officially 'accept' the offer in writing. Really want that email in my hands....

Yay! I got my hireright email this morning and sent it back right away. Looks like we'll be classmates after the official offer of course.

:D

Boy I filled that HireRight thing out FAST! :D

I was walking out the door on an errand and checked my email on my iPhone on the way to the car, saw that one from HireRight, and walked back into the house to tell the family. (they were really sick of me slinking around the house today after the 3rd interview, I was just so unsure of it and all.)

Yay for being classmates! Once this background stuff clears (sending good vibes to the universe for a speedy background check) and we are official, we'll have to keep in touch in anticipation for class!

Not to throw a damper on all the enthusiasm over the last few pages... but a completed HireRight check does not mean a thing other than you have completed it. Many of us have been through that phase (almost 3 weeks ago for me) and have not yet received a call or a rejection e-mail. We are in limbo! I was supposed to be in the 10/29 CPU class but that is obviously not happening.

I wish everyone the best of luck but speaking from experience, don't get over excited at the HireRight phase. I had many sleepless nights waiting for the call that never came when i thought it would based on posts here. You aren't hired until you are get the call and then accept the following e-mail.

I've e-mailed the only address I have multiple times, which was the person who sent me the invitation to fill out the complete official app and listed as the contact on my background check, with no response. :( I've seen several other reports lately that the person listed for them is not replying as well.

Really sucks!

The person who I did my first interview with said I could e-mail him but my facetime log was purged on accident and I lost his address. I should have written it down so I could try him.

When my recruiter called with my offer he said he would like to officially offer me the job so I took it for what it was lol he said the email is just to confirm the details ie. pay, start date, status etc.

You communicate with three people via phone or FaceTime during the process. The first is the questionnaire recruiter on the phone, the second is the recruiter you interview with after that questionnaire person. The last is the team lead or hiring manager and that person recommends you for the background check. The SECOND person is who you need to contact. That person is who gives you the ultimate job offer. You will have their email address in an email the first recruiter with the questionnaire sent you to confirm your interview with the second person.

Yeah I meant the second interview... it was the longest one and the one I did on facetime.

I've been lurking and reading for a week or so now, and have finally gotten caught up. I've applied for the Columbus, OH job a week ago and haven't gotten a response. I did recently get a response from Kelly Services to do the evaluation, but haven't done it yet. My question is, either company flexible on start dates? My plant is shutting down 12/31, and to get my severance package and stay pay I need to stay until they release me. Is it worth applying now, or should I wait until December to apply?

Thanks

I say apply now because it takes a while before everything is finalized. I applied at the end of August and my start date is 10/29

Did you try the person who sent you the assessment /questionnaire? Depending on how persistent you want to be.... I would do what famous600 said!

I'd rather be hired by Apple than by Kelly Services so I'll do the evaluation and apply through Apple as well.

Theres confusion with who to contact. You contact the second interview person. First FaceTime interview person. That's YOUR recruiter. Not the questionnaire person or the final team manager FaceTime interview. The second person holds the cards.

I just double checked the first person aka questionnaire person is a Corporate Recruitment Sourcing. The second person is a recruiter/team manager. The third person is also a team manager but the second person is YOUR recruiter. :)

So my offer e-mail came last night. One day after I got the offer phone call. I forgot to mention, I was offered a bit more then the $14.50 p/hr quote. I'll state my actual pay when other people who have said they were offered more start stating theirs.

Did your phone offer and email offer have different amounts?

my phone call and offer email were the same amount but not the $14.50 per hour from the 10 question email. ... I agree the amount offered must be based on experience as mine was a few dollars more.;):apple::apple:

10 years customer service background
7 years tech support background

--------------------------------
11/5 start date
An apple a day.....

Past Mac experience is not a requirement, in fact, many in my training class including myself had zero Mac experience going in. A wise rodent said this job is more about fixing the customer than it is the equipment and doing real IT work.

Wise rodent LOL! Yeah AG is very wise. :) HAHAHA I like AG :D

Well, congrats to all the 11/26 class :D I got the offer call today (I missed it yesterday and only heard the voice mail lol) and I got the email today as well. As to the pay I think that education and experience has a lot to do with it....location not so much and I say this base on my offer. I do have a question for those who got the offer....when are we suposed to get the land line? and what are the recommendations of service?

Location does have something to do with it. ;)
