Theres confusion with who to contact. You contact the second interview person. First FaceTime interview person. That's YOUR recruiter. Not the questionnaire person or the final team manager FaceTime interview. The second person holds the cards.

I just double checked the first person aka questionnaire person is a Corporate Recruitment Sourcing. The second person is a recruiter/team manager. The third person is also a team manager but the second person is YOUR recruiter. :)

For argument sake contact them all..

Just trying to help the people that keep complaining about not hearing anything back from the person they are emailing, you probably wont if they have nothing to do with your situation =)

Hi,
I just joined this forum and am following the thread since yesterday.
I applied for AHA bilingual position while back, and the questionnaire was in the junk mail and didnt notice and I just never got the job.. . Yesterday I got an email from I believe a recruiter? saying another bilingual positions are available in the following area, and I applied for every state that was posted on the email including the closest area I live.

My question is.. has someone ever applied for multiple location out of 100miles radius and that actually helped to get the job...?

Not to throw a damper on all the enthusiasm over the last few pages... but a completed HireRight check does not mean a thing other than you have completed it. Many of us have been through that phase (almost 3 weeks ago for me) and have not yet received a call or a rejection e-mail. We are in limbo! I was supposed to be in the 10/29 CPU class but that is obviously not happening.

I wish everyone the best of luck but speaking from experience, don't get over excited at the HireRight phase. I had many sleepless nights waiting for the call that never came when i thought it would based on posts here. You aren't hired until you are get the call and then accept the following e-mail.

Don't I know it...limbo land is pure torture.

Thanks everybody. Too bad I have to deal with the people at my current job a little longer, lol.

Trevorman, I'm sending you a PM.

So you can't really choose a "shift" or general time to work? Having a family, being available for ANY shift on any given day is pretty rough.

Mid-day shifts would be nearly impossible for me to commit to. As I need that time to help the kid with homework and make her dinner.

Really need early/late hours ... but they force you to be available any part of the day? Doesn't seem practical unless you're single and have no school or family responsibility.

Anyone?

I'm not on the inside so I can't comment for certain, but what I've read here in the past and based on what they ask/tell you during initial conversations is that you must be available to work ANYTIME between 5:00am and 11:30pm as needed. Shifts are set for 90 day periods.

That is correct.

According to our new hire paperwork session, you must have open availablity to all hours and you will work all of those hours during your tenure at Apple.

I just received my offer call! It's full time, 12/3 start date.

Congrats!

Welcome to the Apple Family.

I wonder how much down time you can possible have during a shift if any at all.

The availability seems to be the biggest draw back for me thus far. Having an open schedule every day ... any day is pretty tough for anyone with a family I'd imagine.
