It's been a long week but here is an exciting update! Got my call back after BRC on the 2nd at 7PM CST (which was confusing) and was given my offer. Accepted it, and then got the e-mail offer on Monday. Notice has been turned in at current job, ready to get this Apple stuff moving along!

I will be starting on April 1st, I was told it would be for CPU. Very exciting. This thread really did help with my anxiety / paranoia during this whole process, really appreciate the info and support!

Well, today is Thursday. My interview (3rd one) was Monday. Still no word on a BGC or anything else. No emails or communication whatsoever. Hoping that this doesn't imply bad news. Keep checking my email and hoping, but i'm starting to lose hope at this point. Fingers crossed still none-the-less.

I was just going to ask you how it all went. Keep thinking good thoughts! I'm sure you got it. It took them a week to get back to me saying no. They are in no way in a rush. And especially since they pushed you back to 4/22.

Apple exams

does anyone know if the exams are hard? I got hired as a student apple at home advisor, and I am worried.

Yup, I totally agree with Jclark. The timing seems to be based solely on the "batch" of potential trainees that you are grouped into. Added to that, they tend to send the emails later in the day, so you can't assume you haven't gotten word for the day yet. It's too soon. :)

If selected you would get an offer call first. a week or so later the official offer email shows up my offer call took about a week after the BRC was finished

Thanks for the positive thoughts. I am trying to stay that way. :)

True. :) Thanks for the reassurance. My email has never been so checked in its life!

You'll be doomed to a life of misery and despair forever haunted by those dark and cruel words, "if only".

Just kidding, you'll just move on to other things.

ha ha ha not funny!!!!! I know that ......But, God is on my side so hopefully I hear something soon from them tomorrow or Saturday.......:)

I've noticed every morning I get up thinking about this job:eek:
I hope I get my offer email or call soon. My BGC only took 24 hours to complete.

I just said when she asked if I had any questions about the job that I had read some forums on others going through this process so I felt like I knew what it entails. Next time. If I get a next time. I won't even mention it just to be safe.

I said the same thing during my interview, and I agree that the final interview
did seem like a barrage of questions. Most likely because you were
Being considered for cpu. But if you read the forum from Page 1
you should of been prepared for all those questions and then some.
I want to say 90 percent of the questions are available in the forum.

I didn't know anything about mail connection doctor or pop3 and Imap servers before my first facetime but I dedicated some study time and made sure I wasnt going to be stumped
By any of the questions that were provided.

I was told the opposite by our trainers. They said it's virtually impossible to get onto any campus unless you have an escort.

Yeah, we were told we can go to any campus.
Especially if you know someone that can show you around.

I know you can go to any of the fitness centers, cafeterias, etc.

Well, my heart just sank into my stomach... I just got the dreaded "Thank you for your time and interest in Apple" email. Not really sure what happened there, but I did not make it. I felt like everything went really well, too. So bummed.

Oh no.. so sorry:( Your recruiter sounded pretty positive about your interviewing/hiring process so this surprised me..
