Anyone know for sure if 3/25 is iOS or CPU?
Also has anyone ever requested to switch from one or the other before training starts?
I'm in 3/25 and was told it was iOS by my recruiter.

Im a little confused, it seems that you skipped all the steps that pretty much everyone else had to go through. I was similar as far as I applied and quickly got a response, but it was an email with 12 questions, then phone interview who set me up to my first FaceTime interview which led to my 3rd and final Facetime Interview. I had that last Monday and got the BGC email the next day. Im slated for the 4/15 class, BGC came back and it's completed, just waiting for that email or offer call. You seem to of skipped 2 interviews? Did you do one with a team leader? It is just a waiting game. Gotta be patient. From what i've heard if you have completed a BGC and you have no problems then your golden so simmer and just try to relax until it the good news comes in.

I doubt it and my guess is that once you accept the position your fate is sealed![]()
What time of day did each of you receive the email to schedule an interview?
I am currently awaiting one right now (that's if I get one) LOL
Are you waiting for the initial email or the 3rd interview email? And typically they like to send emails late in the day. I receivedy emails after 7pm EST. but there is no set time they do things.
Initial email. I submitted my questionnaire on Friday at 11am, and I'm not awaiting an email to set an interview. It seems some people get the interview emails early in the morning so that's why I was wondering?
Since you said you got yours in the evening, I guess I can still get it
How many days did it take for you to get the initial email after the questionnaire?

Ill start by saying I'm in the 2nd process of applying. Didnt make it the first time.
That being said I received the questionnaire email late evening on a Sunday. I replied Monday morning and received a call from a recruiter that day late afternoon who then scheduled my 2nd interview.
Congrats!!!! I am glad you made it this time around
I just hope I hear something soon about an interview! It seems a lot of people have gotten the initial interviews quite quickly. I'm assuming they have gotten busier recently since the deadline to apply is approaching...Who knows!
Oh sorry. Meant I have reapplied for the 2nd time. Have not heard back yet!
Don't sweat it. Your still early on im sure they will call.
Okay, AG, I've heard these "shifts" mentioned a couple of times now. Are there pre-assigned hours that you can supposedly bid for? If so, how are the hours broken up? (Like, 8a-12n; 9a-1p; etc.) Is it safe to share that info?
P.S. Are you on shift right now?![]()
I'm not working now but was earlier. You don't get to do a shift bid until you have 6 months in. Your first shift out of training is assigned by your team manager and most new trainees end up on later shifts. Shifts can be any 4 hour period beginning at 7 AM CST and going through 11 PM CST. Weekends are always 8 hour shifts.
If you're full time.. I'm not sure how they're scheduled.
I applied over a month ago through Jobs at Apple on the Apple website. After I applied I answered a questionnaire that was on the website. That's all I do right?
I keep reading that people receive a questionnaire through email. Am I going to get another one or I just waiting for either a phone call or email to schedule one?
I'm going to be joining you all for training on 3/25... I already posses in depth knowledge of both Mac OS X/ iOS software and hardware, I can disassemble an iPhone 4/4S and reassemble it in under 15 minutes. I am an IT major, and I have working knowledge of iOS Application development, so I'm pretty skilled in all lines of Apple products, keep that in mind.
Applied February 12th
1st Call Back February 13th, call lasted 2 minutes, scheduled interview for 2/14
2/14/13-Second Interview lasted all of 5 minutes
Third Interview Scheduled for Noon on 2/18, done via Skype lasted all of 10 minutes
Received HireRight email within 15 minutes, and it was completed the very day
Had to email Apple HR directly with some documentation, but they approved it directly.
2/19/13 received call for offer, wanted to pay me $15.50/hour , and I respectively declined... They said they would be in touch...
2/20/13 called offering 17.50/hour, I asked if they could do better...
2/21 called offering $19.25/hr for part time...
I accepted this time, as I am still in school finishing my degree, but I want to get in the door with Apple.
They explained to me I was offered far more then most initially starting out,but that is because of my prior experience and knowledge of the Mac OS X and iOS line. My dedication to the brand was also evident from my online presence through contributions to Apple based tech blogs, and such.
I have an inside source at Cupertino's HR Department( I got this without their help), but they explained to me that if Apple sees you as a valuable asset to the company, they will will move fast to secure you with the company. Apple processed most of my paperwork within minutes, and HR even responds to my emails and calls on the weekends, if I need them to.
This is just the starting point for me with Apple, eventually though I plan on moving into the Carrier Sales Trainer position, and ultimately walk the halls of Cupertino myself.

Congratulations? The hubris, it burns, it burns my eyes.
It seems many get their 1st interview soon after they applied. Did some of you apply to more than one location?
