I'm not AG, but I believe the answer to this question is yes.

Congratulations! I'm sure you'll do just fine.

Thank you !! :D

Both. I said it in a sarcastic manner but I was being serious at the same time because most of the people at the AHA level talk like 16 year olds.

Oh lol! I don't actually talk like that in a professional manner. I am just bubbly person who likes to be silly sometimes :D

Thank you; you were right. Have you been hired? If so, how did the whole process go? If I may ask; what were some of the questions and scenarios in the third interview? Thanks a million for your input.

Now for me third interview was just like second just little bit more detailed and CS focused

Was that a sarcastic remark, or were you being serious? :D

OH, I GOT AN INTERVIEW!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAY!

See!! Patience be the thing, Young Grasshopper. :)

There will potentially be a lot more waiting in the process, but that first waiting-to-be-noticed wait is maybe the worst. I'm very happy for you!!

Just another timeline to compare:

Applied: 2/6
Received and completed questionnaire: 2/6
Email to schedule Factime interview: 2/14
Official Application email: 2/15
FaceTime Interview: 2/18
Hireright email: 2/19

...complete silence ever since.

I only had one interview, through FaceTime, which seems strange compared to the usual three I've read about and expected. On the other hand, I did receive and go through my Hireright BGC after my only interview. I don't know if the BGC is complete but I assume I would have been asked for additional info or contacted in the case of an issue.

Should I go with the motto "no news is good news?" My interviewer did state I would be in the May class so maybe I'm just a lower priority?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

You can check the status of your background check by either:

A) logging into the portal they sent you in your original email and you should see the status of it.
B) Calling Hireright or using their live chat function (accessed through the login portal they gave you in the original email)

It truly is. Thank you so much for all your advice! I appreciate it

The first thing I would suggest is going back to your HireRight submission page (I usually click the link in the initial HireRight email), and check the status of your BGC. You can do this as often as you like with no consequences, and it will give you an answer as to whether the BGC is actually complete.
Secondly, I agree that no news is good news, especially considering that your start date isn't until May. It does seem that the hiring team prioritizes according to start dates. Also, it has been suggested in previous posts that Apple seems to make offer calls roughly a month before the training class dates. Maybe that pattern follows here...?

Your start date is scheduled for May and you got the BGC that early...? That sounds outrageously ahead compare to the average of what I see in this thread.
I think offer calls usually kicks in around a month before the start date, but hope that doesnt apply to you.

Understood. My observation so far has been that most AHA reps (who are pretty young for the most part) tend to use a lot of chat vernacular and popular internet colloquialisms. That's fine except my preference is regular English. I've been on the net for over 25 years and have seen a lot of slang come and go.

I will say that after I leave this job I hope I never again run into the words "rocks", "rockin" or "awesome", they're used so often that the phrase ad nauseam would be an understatement.

University student here also. :p Been lurking the thread for a few weeks now. Here is my timeline:
Feb 6- Initial application submitted with resume
Feb 18- received questionnaire
Feb 21- invite to virtual information session which I attended the following day. :)
Feb 25- received email to schedule interview
Feb 26- received email to fill out official application (completed the same day)
Feb 27- Facetime interview
Mar 6- received hire right email and submitted my bgc that evening

Hire right says my bgc has been completed, although I wasn't paying attention to when exactly that occurred. Lol

I was told early or late may as my start date? Dx
Only had one interview- havent heard anything yet. In fear of thanks for playing email. Blah!

Just an FYI... don't be too specific with personal info because it wouldn't be too hard for anyone at Apple to figure out exactly who you are from your support queue and location. Even if your posts are above reproach you want to be as anonymous as possible in this forum.

Cleveland is a big city but there aren't a lot of AHA people there. Columbus area has quite a few though.

Good point. point taken.

Hi! I have a question I have cable phone service and I was told I could use this but I had to remove all features such as voicemail, call waiting, caller id. My phone line is long distance would I need to switch to local online or will long distance line work? Thanks!

Hey guys! I wanted to let you guys know that I got my job offer call today. This is for the aha position in April class so expect yours soon. I still haven't accepted it, I got a few days to think about it.

if long distance is included its not the issue. basically call waiting is the big one you need to remove because that can interrupt the call your taking for Apple. even if its just a click its customer impacting. Hope this helps.

Thanks. Yeah I had voicemail, caller id and call waiting removed. My friend works for apple and said I need to have long distance removed but not sure I can and she advised me it could cause problems with the way the calls are routed? I will get a local only plan if I need to just checking!

Which date in April, and student or corporate?

Are those the type of people that move up, or does it seem that the more serious and professional people are the ones moving up in the company?

The people that move up are the ones that perform well. It doesn't matter if they're a millennial that talks like a mutant ninja turtle or an aged hipster that talks like someone from Downton Abbey... it's all about how well you do your job.

The Questionnaire

Hi everyone,

I have not heard from Apple yet and I am hoping that I didnt look over or delete my questionnaire that everyone keeps talking about. Does all there emails come directly from Apple with Apple in the subject field?

Finished my third interview. Asked when I could expect word back and they said they like to take a couple of weeks for a response... didn't get it did I?

To be clear 3rd interview was with team manager, second was with hiring manager and went much smoother.

according to other people who made it through, an email from hire right will be sent to you in a matter of hours. you should check your email more often this time. this is going to be exciting!

by the way, would it be okay if you share some of the questions asked in your third interview? it will be such a great help to me and to others. thanks a lot!

I wouldn't delete your bookmark to indeed.com just yet. You may need it if you don't get a hireright login within a day or two.
