Okay, I'll say it here because you guys will get it...
I'm freaking out a little b/c there have been at least 2 offer calls reported here for the April classes. I am beginning to worry that they are going to pass me over.
Does anyone have any comforting thoughts? Have other offer calls been spread out over a few days??
Help, please. My brain's gonna explode...

I did notice that you got your offer call one or two days before other ppl in your 3/25 class...I hope I'm in the later boat. :)

Thank you, it does make me feel better, either way. It's the stinkin' waiting (and the knot of anxiety that comes with it) that is killing me. No news does not always feel like good news.

AG, gimme some of that acerbic wit and cheer me up, please!

If this drives you crazy wait till you get the call from the old fart that can't get a dial tone on their iPhone

ROFL! I will keep that in mind.

It's that sense of limbo that's keeping me tied in knots, anyway. There is no way to feel any sort of resolution, one way or the other...I'm staying as calm as I possibly can, though.

according to other people who made it through, an email from hire right will be sent to you in a matter of hours. you should check your email more often this time. this is going to be exciting!

by the way, would it be okay if you share some of the questions asked in your third interview? it will be such a great help to me and to others. thanks a lot!

Holy crap I got a hire right email. I think she was messing with me, when she asked if I had any questions I asked when I could expect the background check email (knowing the implications) when she smiled and said probably a couple weeks.

Questions:
What is ram?
How to troubleshoot USB device?
What bothers you about people?
What would your day look like?
I am a top level advisor with my current job, wanted to know what difficulties I foresee stepping into Tier 1
How to troubleshoot email?

Roleplaying we did
'I ran and dropped my Macbook'
'My iPhone was stolen'

Congratulations! Getting that Hire Right email is a huge step!

I have now finished all my paperwork and am just waiting on equipment now. :)

New hires for CPU

My tip for you: Pay attention in training and take notes. Do as much research as you can to help you out and understand. The tests can be a bit trying if you're unsure. If you don't understand.....ask, ask, ask questions

Hiring process?

Applied for this position on March 6th? Been waiting to be contacted back i hope soon, how long does it take for apple to reply back.

*i submitted resume, cover letter and questionnaire on march 6th. I am out of college( I have a associate degree in computer maintenance and service technology and have some experience. What kind of experience does apple take into consideration.

A lot of it is customer service. "Fix the customer" then take care of the problem

Wow...that's 2 full-timers in as many days. Weird.
Also, I meant to say CONGRATS!! :D

While I sometimes think it would be nice getting a paycheck for full time rather than 20 hours, I probably would have quit by now had this been a full time gig. CPU may be different but iOS is customer service, not tech support and taking call after call after call after call can get to you after a while. There are some people that like this kind of work but this is one of the most unpleasant jobs I've had in years.
