hey all...

I had a question for anyone who has gone through the hiring process for the AHA.

I made it through all the interviews and received lots of positive feedback and also went through the hireright background check, and just received a rejection letter via email, but it was not from my original recruiter, nor anyone else who I spoke with during my hiring process.

I did apply for 3 separate positions at apple, and I am wondering if this is just a rejection letter for one of the other positions, or I should assume that it was for the AHA position.

Has anyone received a rejection email from someone you have not spoken/emailed with during the hiring process?

kinda taken back that I made it this far to be given a simple rejection letter.

Assuming you haven't spent the last 5 years in Gitmo, once you get a hireright login you're essentially hired. The "Thanks for playing but" letter had to be from one of the other positions you applied for.

update

For those waiting on BGC emails after a recent final interview; I just got an email saying that they are working to finish up all the interviews from this week and I will get an email for the next steps later today.

Hopefully the next step for me is a Hire Right login!

Who did you get the email from? I finished up my final interview Wednesday and nothing was ever sent to me or said in the interview about the BGC.

I emailed my recruiter to follow up. But it sounds like they are finishing up a batch of final interviews and then sending out BGC emails as far as I can tell. There was no mention of a BGC email in my final interview. Just said that I was being recommended to get hired, and that I would hear from Apple withing the next 2 weeks.

Okay, I was also told that I would hear within 2 weeks too. I emailed my recruiter to follow up as well but I haven't received a reply.

I know this has been posted on here before but am I one of the only people who didn't get a BGC email right after the 3rd interview?? I am honestly nervous that I said something wrong in my interview yesterday and if I said something wrong it was because I was really nervous

It's not always right away. Don't give up just yet.

Did anyone else's heart skip a beat when they saw the email from Apple titled "We Spoke to Soon" I instantly thought that was the dreaded thanks but no thanks until I realized what it was

I sure did lol. And then I was like wait I haven't gotten any official emails to this address.... So I read it and all was well again ;)

Is this the next steps email?? I haven't got anything today! Is it over?

No your still in it if you haven't gotten the thanks for playing email that was just an advertisement from Apple that made me panic. Have you checked your spam folder just in case?

Realized I just have comprehension problems. lol I skipped over the separate positions part and understood it as applied for aha multiple locations.

I think your still in the running ;)

Its "you're" and I assume "still in the running" is meant for the original poster and not me even though you replied to my post.

Thanks for that grammar catch, and I apologize, that was meant for the original poster.

I replied to your post because I agreed with your take on the situation.

I apologize if that just ruined your day. :D

Well I had my 2nd interview and thought it went really, really well. None of the questions seemed too difficult to me and the manager I spoke to was extremely nice. She told me that I would hear back in a week to a week and a half from HR.

However, today I got an email for my background check from HireRight and definitely wasn't prepared to get that so soon!

Congrats:) When was your interview?

Well, congrats mine was on Wednesday 3/20 and i'm stressing lol because I have yet to get any emails from anybody about my interview or the bgc

Ahhh well don't worry, the whole hiring process can be nerve wracking and frustrating. The manager I spoke did say she had many more people to call and go through. Just keep your hopes up! You aren't out of it yet. :)

I'm just keeping an eye on my email!! I thought my interview went well, the questions were pretty basic for me since I have knowledge of both PC and Mac. When is your training? April 29?
