Where I'm the advisor, Customer drops IPhone what do you have the customer do first. It's been forever since I've had an IPhone even though all my family uses them
I think I said something like make sure there is no damage to the phone and try plugging it into ITunes and see if it displays the device on the side of ITunes . I tried to show empathy because that's important but I was really nervous
I have no student ID and I just got my offer call, FWIW. I did send in a pdf of my unofficial transcript somewhere along the way though.
Ok 2nd interview done. Now what? Here is my process.
OK I know some folks situation is a little diffrent but they all seem to be the same. However, I just wanted to get my process out.
1. I Had a call from Apple last thursday and he liked my resume so, he explained the position and gave me a light interview. After I got done he said he wanted to set up a facetime interview friday.
2. Coulnt make the face time interview work but did do the phone interview. Answer all the question honestly and from experiance. I also had ACMT (APPLE CERTIFIED MACINTOSH TECHNICIAN) under my belt that I had recently goT. tHE GUY WAS KIND OF DRY AND HAD ROBOTIC RESPONSES LIKE GREAT!, EXCELLENT!, PERFECT! Anyway, maybe i got the wrong feel but i still kept my composure. He said that the next step is the 3rd interview if chosen.
3. Its monday now and I haven't got an email or phone call yet. Anyone have an idea on how long?
Also, I know its a good thing to work for them but min to start which is 14hr and I'll be getting my Bachlers degree in IT in a month. Can I ask for more? And if so how much do you guys think? I work help desk for a corp now at 16hr.

I think you would be great!Wednesday the 20th I got the email to complete the questions, then about an hour later the recruiter called, did a brief (20 min) with her, then she said she was going to set me up with the FaceTime/Skype call. I had my FT call Thursday the 21st, she said i would hear something within 3-5 days! How about you? when was yours?

Yes, same here she said May 6th seems like they are just finalizing the April start/training from reading all the posts. I think we have some time before we get notified.
So I called hire right about the status of my background check, and they said they are still waiting on the court. Hire right said the court told them they would probably be done by today! Fingers crossed that they finish today

I do have a rather sardonic sense of humor but alas, I was already hired last Aug. However, I am leaving AHA early next month so stand up comedy is an option I suppose.
Satellite Internet
I am wondering if you can use satellite internet if it is hardwired into the wall? I've read the whole form and didn't see anything about this. I saw where it people talked about the upload/download speeds, no wireless, etc but nothing about satellite internet that is hardwire into the wall. That is the only internet that I can get where we live.

I just wanted to briefly introduce myself, as I just had an interview for non-student AHA.
I applied at the beginning of March, was contacted last week for an email Q&A session, then had a brief conversation with someone after they received the reply to the Q&A email.
They scheduled a phone interview for me this morning with a recruiter (because FaceTime wouldn't cooperate for either of us, such irony lol!). It went well, and now he is passing me on to a coordinator to schedule another interview. I guess I have to log-in and do this but I haven't gotten the email yet... Hopefully this is the final one!
Is anyone at this point also and/or does this sound fairly favorable for me? They are tossing around a May 20 start date. Anyone else here shooting for that date? I have had no BGC completed yet nor have I filled out an 'application' for Apple as some have mentioned previously that they have done...

Welcome and congrats on getting contacted! I just had my third and final interview last week and I went through most of the same process that you are in right now. I didn't get my email to schedule my interview until the next day after my 2nd interview. My advice keep checking your email. I am still waiting on my bgc email from my interview last week!
I don't know why yall go through all that trouble for a degree. I went to the
sister school of MIT...NIT...the Nigerian Institute of Technolergy and got my
degree. I got a double Masters in ITing. Came straight from the dean too.
Dean Steve Abooboo. Just had to send him $19.99, my checking account
and password and a self addressed stamped envelope to send me back my
diploma. I still have the email if anyone else is interested.
