I hope I do not get pushed back. I sent in my background check on Wed. It was
Completed on Friday.

You are in a better position to start on time. me and a few others that recently had the 3rd interview last week hasn't recieved the hireright...youre ahead of the gang....congrats!!!

does anyone who was hired in by kelly know if they do temp to perm or how does that work? I thought I might have read something about being able to post for a perm position, but I am not sure.

Thanks! I just keep trying to stay positive. I know my background came back fine. Just dont have a lot of that iPatience ha ha. Hoping i get the call tomorrow.

Yea for real. I'm currently waiting on either a hire right email or a thanks for playing email.

You Will receive the hireright this week, hopefully. There's so much to consider for the delay. they are behind some, as quoted in the conclusion of both your interview and mines. also it was a holiday weekend, so im sure HR was itching to start their weekend. and plus not everyone receives the hireright promptly. so stay stuff!!!!!

You're trolling on an internet forum. Yet, you're 50+ years old w/ "accomplishments"...

we believe you.

And you picked up the fact that I have an "inflated ego" from glancing at a web page that just links to other web sites i've done, I would have to say you have "accomplished" a lot with your telepathic mind-reading skills.

It makes no difference whether you believe me or not and the inflated ego assumption was based more on your post and signature than anything else.

In regards to accomplishments, they mean very little in the big picture, they're merely stepping stones toward whatever you define as success. The older and hopefully, wiser you get, the more you'll realize that "accomplishments" are ultimately how we've impacted the people around us and society as a whole. Its not always about who has the most toys at the end.

And yes, I am over 50, been to college, served in the US Navy and Merchant Marine, lived and worked in 3 different countries and have been in IT for 25 years. My most important accomplishment? Stacking sandbags during a typhoon in a small village in the Philippines.

From your posts you seem to be talented but most of all, honest. I hope you don't let the snarky comments get to you. I applaud your accomplishments, especially the fact that you saved lives. Success is in the eye of the beholder. My only hope is that you find a job that makes you happy and is a true use of your talents.

3rd interview

My 3rd Skype interview went (seemingly) well this morning... the role-play session went fantastic and we discussed pay/benefits/confirmed training startdate but I got no responses/inflection either way on the technical questions... My interview did not end abruptly and lasted nearly 45 minutes. They said Apple would reach out within 5-7 business days. I'm thinking it didn't go so well... I hope I get the background check email...

Probably just stressing. I felt mine went really well. I am stressing now because I want the offer call. Lol

Congrats !!!.....did your interviewer seemed interested? Did he/she smile and engage with you??....I wouldn't worry that much, just let it flow....

Good luck! I got my email 24 hours later from 3rd interview.

When did you have your 3rd interview??

Mine was last Monday night. Got the HireRight email Tuesday night. It was completed on Friday. Background check was good.

cool story bro...

Hmmm, I did not get info like obiwan (pay/benefits). Mine was going to be FaceTime but ended up being a 15min phone call. I was told my start date would be set for may 6th and they will be reaching out to those chosen in a few weeks.

I'm wondering if I'm gonna get the generic "eh you did ok but we're going with other candidates, thanks anyway"

It's only Monday, time will tell I suppose. Good luck to everyone else :)

Well my second interview I was briefed on the pay and benefits....the last interview(40min) i was lectured on what to expect from training and passing tests to be officially employed.....was your interview in the evening?....possibility your interviewer was stumped from doing interviews all day....if it was that short, what exactly was asked of you and what did you guys cover??

----------

Wow. Just got my hire right email!!! Gonna start this. I'll keep you guys posted :D

Congrats!!!!!!!!

So I noticed the hire right defaults to "yes - we can contact previous employer" when I was never given the option.

Does anyone know a way around this?

"Congrats !!!.....did your interviewer seemed interested? Did he/she smile and engage with you??....I wouldn't worry that much, just let it flow...."

We had video issues, and only had an audio feed via Skype but the interviewers tone during the initial explanations, role-play and general questions was positive. They asked some very simple technical questions and that was positive as well. Then my interviewer got a little deep in regards to Terminal (which I honestly have no experience with) and the demeanor changed slightly but we then both got off topic about a few things then got back to the interview which ended on the same positive vibe as it started. We both laughed and joked- it was personable and laid-back. I think what I lacked in advanced technical ability I made up in the empathy, passion and friendliness categories.

We shall see how it goes... :)

True true. Well the deed is done and BGC has been submitted. Called hire right immediately after and in those 5min it took to get to a rep apparently they already had my court records. Just waiting on two other counties I've lived in and job history. The lady said it should be done in 5 business days. I doubt it will take that long, I don't have that much of a history.

After the hire right does it just come down to a good call or a bad email? Lol

Yeah i filled mine out on late tuesday night and come thursday i had a notice that my credit had a soft check on it from a new employer. Assumed it was apple and when i logged into hire right it was all said and done. Email or phone call. I have been going crazy all day today waiting. Gonna be like this all week until i know. Blah

Congrats... When was your 3rd (FaceTime / Skype) interview? Mine was 3-28 and I'm patiently waiting to hear anything, hopefully a BGC email, If I'm not mistaken I'm close with dates with you... Thanks

Really? I didn't know they did interviews on weekends. I'm glad we all made it this far :)

My last interview was last Wednesday 3/24. I was a little worried of course but no news is good news sometimes.
