I just finished my final interview!! Ahhh!!! I think I did really well. I answered all of her questions thoroughly and with empathy. It did only last 30 minutes though. Even still, I feel pretty good about it overall.
She didn't use the video part of Skype, just the phone. I had made a study guide, and I was able to refer to it since it wasn't video. She was very nice and charming. At the end I emphasized that I wanted the job, and that I would be willing to learn any technical skills necessary. She said it would be a week before I hear anything.
Estimated start date is now May 20th in CPU (if I get the job)!
I hope I get it!!!![]()
Got the hireright email today at 2:39 EST. Filled out forms and sent.
During the third interview they said the job was T1.

Congrats!!! May 6th right??
So I was supposed to have my hireright paperwork call today, and I totally missed it because I didn't know it was on central time... I logged into my apple id stuff and tried to reschedule it but it wouldn't let me... I'm super worried that it's going to be a problem...![]()

Alright so I called hire right again and they said it should be done by tomorrow.
For those who were hired or received the "thanks for playing email", how long after bgc was completed did you receive feedback?
I applied last Tuesday for the first time. After reading this thread I submitted multiple applications in various cities on Thursday and Friday. Still no 11 questions email. I was wondering if any other recent applicants have been contacted? I did see one person that applied 3/27 and was immediately contacted with the email questionnaire. Thanks in advance for any feedback!
i assumed that. I mean i dont want to count my chickens before they hatch but i figured apple would not want to spend money on you for the bgc if they werent going to hire you. I will just feel better once i know 100% that i will be in the training class.
Can I ask what AHT and CSAT stand for? If you can tell me, that is.
I applied for a part time position and have an interview tomorrow. I was informed that Apple is only looking for people that can commit to being fully availability every week for all hours of operation which I can be. I was told your schedule is always written 90 days in advance and that you place bids for the days you would like to be off but nothing is ever guaranteed. I watch my little one three set weekdays a week and was wondering if any of you that are or have been part time At Home Advisors can speak of the odds of me getting these days off? I can make arrangements if I have to work on these days but it would be preferable to be off when ever possible. I understand this is the commitment you have to make however. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
I got my email today that I wasn't selected... disappointed but looking to re apply... Good Luck to those that are still in the running... keep me posted and ill be more prepared next time, for sure![]()

I work part-time (been doing this 6 months). What days you get off is simply luck of the draw. Yes, you can bid for preferred shifts, but it's supposedly based on performance ranking. After you get your shift assignment you can try to swap with someone (using an internal Wiki).
And you are not notified of your schedule 90 days in advance. You get a few weeks notice. If you're required to flex up to full-time hours, you get a few days notice.
Seems like part-timers keep their schedule for 4/5 months, then it's time for another round of bids.
Thanks for info!!! Do you get to bid on your first schedule? I am hoping if I get the job and don't bid for any weekends then I may have a better chance to get these days off. Do you work set days until the schedule changes or different ones regardless? How may hours do you work per shift on average? Thanks one again!!!
When my class came out of training we were handed a schedule. No bids took place. You worked what you were assigned.
Your part-time schedule is 3 weekdays (4 hours each) and one weekend day (8 hours). The full-time hours could be any days, including working Sat and Sun (5 days, 8 hours each).
Thanks for all the great info! My only other question is if the days you work change every week or do they change per schedule. Thanks a million!
