I just had my first phone interview last night and the apple employee who interviewed me said she had to sit down with a group of hiring coordinators to discuss who to move forward with and who not to. Is that their polite way of saying were not interested? Did any of you go through the same process? Or did they setup your second interview while on your first phone interview? She said i would receive an email in 3-5 days as to if they are going to move forward with me or not. Thanks in advance for any input.

Plano? A fellow MacRumors neighbor I see! I'm North Dallas. LOL

LOL. Omg, I didn't think I would see ANYBODY here who was in Texas. Thats awesome! Hopefully soon we will be Apple Employee Neighbors :p

So, I just got my Background email this morning, and my official App. last night, filled it out and this morning I woke to HireRight, signed everything and sent it. Now the long process begins.. Does seem I am going pretty fast through the whole process. Although I got my email questions at the beginning of the month.. It seems like this background has taken a little bit longer for me than most people on here and I was quoted 5/20. Lets hope it stays that way.

I know I read something about a week ago on here, somebody asked that same question and I don't know what happened with them... But for my experience, I got my first interview 4/5 (SHE WOKE ME UP AND I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I WAS BEING INTERVIEWED) then at the end of the convo, she said she liked me and she was moving me forward, same with interview #2, now the 3rd never told me, just said I would hear something within the next 2 weeks. That was friday afternoon and I got my Official Application in last night, wasn't even half a week before I heard something else from them. It really just all depends. Good luck! P.S. I don't and wouldn't see why that is code word for "your not moving forward" Just think positively and remember. Those "emails" come at the weirdest time. My App came in at midnight last night.. :) :D:apple:

That is what I got told after my 2nd interview. I was told they will be having a meeting tomorrow and I should hear after that. There is another member on here that said she was told the same thing and she is now going through training.

hth and good luck!

Just got 3rd interview email

Hi everyone,
I just got the third interview email where I have to choose a time and whether or not I want to use facetime, skype or phone.
I was wondering if it counts against you if you choose phone instead of skype or face time. Im thinking if you choose phone that they may think you do not know how to use the other options.
Thanks for any replies :)

Offer calls aren't made by the recruiters. The batches may be different for full time corporate, part time corporate, and part time student though if that is causing some confusion.

My offer call was from my 2nd interviewer, who according to Linkedin, is indeed a recruiter.

So very true

They can't watch your screen unless you allow a remote session. There's absolutely no way to cheat on the tests so not much point in watching you take it. Even if you had someone standing next to you that's already taken it they're randomized enough where most questions would be different.

Despite the training and tests you're going to be clueless when you first start in on the phones and the stuff you really need to know can only be learned OTJ.

Trial by fire, the only way to go.

Thanks for all you do.

Regards,
JiM

Hi macrumors members, I just joined the forums. Does anyone here work for Apple through Kelly Services? I am currently in the onboarding process for the tech support advisor position for Apple through Kelly Services. My question is, does Apple or Kelly Services watch their at home employees through webcam? One of them documents mentioned we'll be watched while working, so I just wanted to learn more about that.

time line

here's my timeline. Recruiter said it was for the June training, part-time.

4/11 Applied
4/14 "we want to know more about you" email
4/15 replied to email
4/15 quick 10 minute rundown phone call *unscheduled
4/16 interview with recruiter. Said she'd pass my name to next stage w/ hiring manager & expect email w/ next interview link.
*waiting.

Here's a question-on the posts I've seen is the first quick 10 minute call considered the first interview? Trying to figure out if I have one or two more to go.

My offer call was made by the second person to interview me who then also took over from my recruiter. So yes you are right. There really is no rhyme or reason to when calls come or emails.

If you read DirtyHobo's posts you will see that he is actually saying there is a reason for when offer calls are placed.

3 total. third is scheduled through email get a link to sign in with Apple ID then there is times and dates to schedule it.

Type of questions

Does anyone know what type of questions are asked in the third interview? I am wondering since the interview will be 45 min to an hour long. Yikes!!

They say that... I don't know if it was just me or not. But my 3rd interview was about 20 minutes and I passed to the BGC :)

I just got the offer call!!!! My bgc cleared at 9:15am this morning and I got the call at 5:30pm!!!

I can't believe I got it so early!! I know it is probably too early, but I really want to reward myself by buying my office chair. :D

Would any of you who just recently got offer calls mind letting me know if you are going to be a part or full time official Apple employees and also the recruiter from your last interview if you feel comfortable doing so? Thanks!

LOL. I actually didn't accept the job in the end, so if anybody's applying through Kelly, a spot just opened up.
