Didn't make it

Yesterday I Received my 'sorry' email. This came after completing three interviews. One thing I noticed is after the first two interviews I would quickly get a move ahead email... within hours. After the third interview it was a full ten days before I received the email stating I did not make it.

I will keep following this forum just to keep up on it all.

So sorry to hear that pphilipp :( It makes me wonder exactly what the recruiters are looking for.
 
Audio problem

Did anyone else have the mysterious audio stopped working in the middle of the long third interview which was with FaceTime? I'm wondering if that was a legit problem, or if it might have been a test. My interviewer then went on to finish by phone conversation instead.

Yep, during the computer setup they have you tick the option to allow the remote viewing and the option to not show the notification for it as well. This is how they observe your tool usage on your observed calls. This is the very reason why you set up a script that emails your manager your IP each day.
 
I received my offer call on the 5th of this month. I am still waiting for my official offer email. Any advice other than emailing my recruiter?

I got my offer email a week after my offer called. I was originally told it could take 5-7 business days. Hope that helps.

Maybe today, you never know. My interviewer said I would know if I got the position in 5-10 days.
...yesterday was day 10. Haha

Been waiting almost 3 weeks now. emailed my recruiter no response. THAT makes me nervous.

My HireRight bgc was completed this morning at 9:15! The report was a bit confusing to read at first, but it's all clear!!!

I can't wait to hear from Apple!!! :D

Oh my goodness! I really don't want to wait that long either. I thought the call comes sooner than that (like a couple of days). I guess I will be waiting with you guys now, but for the 5/20 class.

I was supposed to be in the 5/6 class. Just called Hirewrong again, they had me send a new copy of my DBA (for some reason they couldn't verify the first one) and I gave them the name of the Town Clerk and told them to call. What a process! They also for some reason didn't notice the 1099's I sent and are going to look again at those. ACK!
 
I just got a call from a different Kelly recruiter, he informed me that the April 29th Class is filled up. So he moved me to May 13th class which was my original class. My background check was started on the 4th and since it takes two weeks should be done sometime this week and I should hear either by the end of the week or next week either by phone or email whether or not I have the position

I believe I've mentioned this several times. They do the offer calls in batches if you passed the bgc you are in. It can take up to over a month after bgc completes to get an offer call. In my case it was just over three weeks. Just depends where you fall as compared to when they are planning on doing the next batch of callbacks. Be prepared to wit MUCH longer and know that you are pretty much in at this point.
 
I also have a completed BGC as of 9:30 this morning and mine was started on April 8th. Just like everyone else, I hope I hear from Apple soon! I am going to be in the 5/20 start date group!

I don't believe this is the case because I know others here who's background check completed after nine that have already received offer calls. Maybe it comes down to your recruiter and a combination of how busy they are and how they handle their workflow?

Offer calls aren't made by the recruiters. The batches may be different for full time corporate, part time corporate, and part time student though if that is causing some confusion.

My offer call was made by the second person to interview me who then also took over from my recruiter. So yes you are right. There really is no rhyme or reason to when calls come or emails.

Thanks for the info! I'm pretty sure there are other part time corporate applicants who have already received offer calls who's background check came back after mine. Ultimately it's good to know that others have waited for weeks so I'm not that worried.
