Basically ranting about how bad the job was and how you have to deal with idiotic questions on the CPU tier, and how after about 3 months on the job he just wants to quit. :x

Thankkk you!! Well if you go through Kelly to get the job, deffiently not worth the ignorant questions, but for the benefits and wage offered by Apple. I'd keep the job! My opinion of course.

Goodmorning all! Let's hope for the people who haven't heard anything yet, this make today the day we do! :) good luck :)

You can still read a lot of my posts which are pretty much the same thing, only I've been doing it for 7 months and I'm in iOS.

As much as I hate this job, right now I need the few extra shekels it pays every month but more importantly, the health care. The freelance IT work I do pays more than 2X per hour what Apple does but if I pay for my own health care coverage it's horribly expensive.

If they ever tell me I have to go full time I'd most certainly quit. 40 hours per week of this type of phone work would land me in the local cracker factory for sure.

Oh, it was iOS? I must have glanced through a bit too quickly. :p

But yeah, I could see why the healthcare benefits would be useful though. Isn't the coverage only for dental and vision, though?

There's minimal dental (of course) full vision (already got a pair of free glasses) and full medical (depending on what plan you choose).

Can Anyone Hired Fill me in on what the average day will consist of?

Take Calls, Break, Take Calls, Lunch, Take Calls, Break, Take Calls, Log off

Thats the normal routine aside from having SGT time, team meetings once a week, one on one time once a month, offline time, and flex time.

----------

It is possible to move up before one year.

There are some people who moved to Tier 2 three weeks after nesting, etc.

I am currently waiting for my phone interview call for an international engineering position this evening.

----------

At one time they said CPU. May 6th

Are all classes fives long? iOS,CPU, iPod

Is everybody cross-trained?

Thanks,
Jim

Tier 2 is cross trained.

You will not be.

Tier 1 stays within their limits.

All classes are 5 weeks long, then nesting.

I was wondering what the training schedule looks like and if you can take a bathroom break if you need it. (apart from the designated break times)

Fingers crossed today for an offer call. Background check completed Friday, and as far as I've seen, offer calls typically happen on Mondays and Fridays. Anyone else confirm?

Can anyone please share with me the longest duration they have heard someone waited to get their offer call after completed background check? Thanks!

man i dont know why you guys be talkin about these tests are hard...this first test was a walk in the park.....plus it was open book which was overkill..
Ooooohhhh my gosh...I have been waiting for somebody to at least insinuate that very thing, and boy, would I love to believe you.

Can confirm. Easy and open book both true. Some of the questions are a little tricky(more than one answer could be construed as the correct one in the right light) but overall, pretty hard to fail with it being open book.

I've seen it take a month-ish for some, took a little over 3 weeks for myself personally.

To verify you are speaking about how long it took to receive an offer call once your background check was completed correct? Thanks!!!
