Third interview

First I would like to thank everyone for sharing their experiences. It surely helped me in my interview. Today was my second interview and my recruiter said I would be contacted for a third interview. Does anyone know how long it takes before they contact you for a third interview and if they contact you via phone or email?

That's correct. Time from BGC completion(not start) to offer call. The offer calls come in batches a lot of people at once. So depending on where you fall in a cycle(indeterminate period) it may be a short time(a few days) after or a long time 3,4,5+ weeks.

Generally speaking no news is good news, and if you passed the BGC with no unreported felonies you are in.
 
I'm currently at the 2 week mark on waiting for offer call. Recruiter told me I might hear something today or tomorrow.

CPU Full Time. I'm pretty sure my 5/6 class is full and they'll push me to another start date if chosen.

From my second interview to my third (which was just lastweek..) it was 4 days. You get done with your second interview, they tell you your a go for a third interview. After a day or two you think they forgot about you but you randomly get a email from somebody else, it's a link log in with you're apple ID and set up a date. I got my email 7:30 pm Thursday night and my interview was 9:30 am Friday morning
:) I'm currently waiting on the next step after the 3rd :p

my 2nd interviewer refused to tell me what the decision was, said that it would be made on Wednesday, something about the recruiters getting together and going over the different candidates. I hope that isnt code for thanks for playing :(

Hmm, im not sure. Sorry to hear that if that is the case. But i know from other friends that ive talked to that have worked or do currently work for apple. They know weather they got the next interview. If its a no, then they say they will get back to you. if they like you and want to move you forward they will say "Okay, I will move you on to the next one" Goodluck!

That is so not what I was wanting to hear. I did not get told that I would be moved on. I was told I would hear back on Wednesday. Something about there being a meeting with the recruiters to decide who moved forward.

I mean, There is no reason for your recruiter to lie about anything. Maybe there was just a lot of applicants that are qualified, and maybe they really are meeting about it?

Does anyone know when the next group of hires will be? I have applied with multiple Apple IDs and haven't heard anything since my interview where I was rejected on March 20th. I want this job but I want to wait for new recruiters too. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

You have classes on 5/6, 5/20, 6/15. After that idk. I know there Allready pretty much done with 5/20 new hires, if you haven't heard anything yet then most likely 6/15. But if you've already been contacted then dont worry about the 5/20. But after the hires for 6/15. I don't know.. Sorry :/

Don't stress. My recruiter said almost the exact same thing, and I asked flat out if I was moving on. I just finished my first day of training. Analyzing a recruiter's style of interviewing will only give you unnecessary anxiety. :)

Good to see you made it in TeeLee. Don't sweat the tests. They really are fairly easy and totally open book internet etc. You can use any resource except other people.
 
general question

Does anyone know if you must apply to your closest location or can you apply to anywhere for the at home advisor position. Is there a maximum radius?

Thanks for the info guys! Even though my background check came back clean I was starting to worry since others have been getting calls within a couple days so hearing this eases my mind.

They can't watch your screen unless you allow a remote session. There's absolutely no way to cheat on the tests so not much point in watching you take it. Even if you had someone standing next to you that's already taken it they're randomized enough where most questions would be different.

Despite the training and tests you're going to be clueless when you first start in on the phones and the stuff you really need to know can only be learned OTJ.
 
Third interview

Yesterday my recruiter moved me forward to a third interview. He said the interview would be about 45 minutes to an hour long. I was wondering what goes on in this third interview and what type of questions are asked. I wasnt nervous for the first two interviews but I seem to be nervous for this third one, :(
