I had my 3rd interview today and I think it went okay.

She stated she would be sending my info and everything to human resources and that I would hear from them in a few days by phone or email.

Is this a good sign?

Same. Haven't gotten my BGC stuff yet. Wonder what this means...

Did you go through Kelly or Apple? Can you tell me anything about onboarding and that process? Is that the actual background check?

Just got to email Kelly back about some of my work history. Yay for delays! And tomorrow is interview numero dos with Apple. I'm very much looking forward to that being over (and crossing my fingers it turns into a phone interview instead of Skype).

Ok last question for everyone.
My scenario, I am a specialist in Apple Retail in the mall. I already have a profile, login and everything. Meaning I have already had a bgc before. Recently since then a warrant has been issued for a speeding ticket I got. Which I plan on taking care of in 2 days. I had my final interview yesterday. Do you all think they would automatically do a bgc again or would they send me an email? Im worried because like I said in just 2 days Im taking care of the whole issue. Do you all think even though I am already employed by Apple they would still send me the bgc email like everyone else?

Is this a good sign that I have the job? My background is clean!

From what I've seen in this thread, I'd say you can be pretty certain you've got the job so congrats and I hope to see you in class! Just don't hold your breath waiting for the offer call since they take a while even after the BGC is complete.

I've completed the onboarding process....Its the Kelly application, I believe that gives all the information, so they can process the background check...I'm still waiting on the call from them, so I can go in to a location and sign my application and I-9

If you already work for apple that is likely an internal transfer. Did you apply with a personal apple id? Have you told them you already work for Apple? If you work in retail I cannot imagine you would go through the regular interview process as they will care more about your work record, what your manager thinks of you and so on.

Thank you so much! At least there is some hope :) I applied with my work ID.

BGC Submitted. So, now what.

Take up an interesting hobby to kill the time while you wait? Plan out how you want to decorate your home office? Plan a staycation and make yourself tropical drinks and read trashy novels in the comfort of your own home? Pretty much anything you want really since you can't make the process move faster.

That sounds delicious. I'd love a Club Lulu right now. I'll probably have to settle for making myself a sandwich after the BF wakes up since I have to pack his lunch for work anyway.

Pretty much.

Just stick by the phone. Some received their call mere days after the check completed and some received them a week or more later. Just depends on the recruiter, I think.

As many times as I've seen you post about this you should have taken care of this already. Listen to someone who has been in a similar situation with a warrant for an unpaid fine. Call the clerk of court for the district it is in, explain to them your excuse and let them know you are trying to find out the best way to clear this up. Most likely you will be able to just pay what is owed(or set up a payment plan if that's not possible) and an additional fee and have the commit warrant removed. Trust me, just do it. You don't want to be worrying if that Sheriff behind you is running your tag(they do this all the time) or if the friend you are riding with is going to get pulled over and that cop is going to ask for your ID. Get it done, call them, be honest, they will try to help in any way possible.

Once you square that away, it won't matter either way now, will it?

I received an email from Kelly this morning asking for 7 years work history. I have not worked since2005. I have been in school and stay at home mom. Has anyone else had this issue and got the job? Kinda worried now cause I seen where someone got the same email and was eventually turned down

I got it too, just yesterday. I just replied with the info they wanted (added a job and explained I was unemployed the rest of the time) and sent it off. I guess we'll see.
