Awesome! Can't wait for mine! Congrats :apple::apple:

I was actually really surprised, when the email me the tracking number today it said it was going to Alabama I live in Michigan so they gave me the wrong tracking info. So I called and they gave me the correct info and it said it would be here tomorrow by 7 PM. I'm so glad I procrastinated leaving the house until early this afternoon otherwise I would have missed it!

Anyone in the June 10th class who has gotten an offer call received their offer letter yet via e-mail?

Yes; my recruiter called me Friday with my offer. I received my offer email today and responded. 45 minutes later I received my virtual paperwork email with the link for me to schedule my paperwork session.

Guys should I be worried? I applied through Kelly services. I had my interview already. She said that im moving to the next step and i should start looking into pricing fora new phone line. The next step is filling out the onboarding info online. I did that. Two days later I get an email saying I need to email them 7 years work history since it wasnt on the stuff i filled out. I have none thats why i left it blank. I emailed them to tell them that Wednesday afternoon. I haven't gotten a call or email back from them yet... they're supposed to call within 2 business days to schedule an appointment to go into a Kelly services branch. But I got nothing.. ://

I tried logging back into the website where i filled out the info for onboarding, but it says my accounts been deactivated: /

should i be worried?

Okay guys an update. I contacted another email provided by Kelly Onboarding, and was told they were trying to figure out how to do a background check on me since i have no work history.

Has anyone run into any issues going through Kelly with no work experience?

Its been over a week since i submitted my forms to the Kelly services onboarding site.

I had a few misdemeanors on my record, although they were dismissed in court they were still listed there. Upon completion of my BGC, Apple called me and asked about them and said they'd get back to me. I answered honestly, talked about how stupid of a mistake it was and what not. Two days later I got the offer call.

Has anyone that's gotten an offer heard the 3 to 5 business days for the third interview? I had my second interview and was curious. Thank you. :)

----------

Also, was anyone else's interviewer late?

Well I could say the heat, but that would be incomplete.

I'm there for now myself.

Good Luck,
Jed
I'm in Houston texas and I must admit it is quite hot..

I was told I'd receive an email with further instructions later. Not sure if that counts. Check your email. Also, everyone I've talked to has been on time.

Interesting situation, would think This would be new to Kelly.

May we ask your age. While it is illegal for an employer to ask.

The background would find criminal past if any, but if have never worked or took time off for a family would be common.

Best of Luck,
Jed

Give it time, from the first email from Kelly to the offer it took a whole month and 2-3 days. Ik it's killing you to wait, trust me. Worrying is going to drive you nuts.

I have plenty of time and even more Patience than time.

But that was a reply and yes they could wait. But if there are concerns by either or both parties should meet. It will clear the air, set the tone and show enthusiastic desire.

Which would help show some work ethic, or desire work.

Anybody can call or send an email, well sitting on there butt, not very moving.

Just a suggestion.

Oh, while we're on the topic of Kelly a bad idea to apply for the same job at both.

Regards,
JiM

Why, exactly?

Why, exactly?

You're expecting a coherent answer from "jedi master"? Good luck with that.

Overall it's a good idea to have as many applications in with as many companies as possible. The catch is that you may find yourself in a position where you have to commit to one company while still waiting to hear from a more desirable one. I had applications in with both Kelly and Apple and fortunately Apple's offer came in 2 days before Kelly's did but it easily could have been vice versa.

Has your employer got you AMCT certified?

http://training.apple.com/certification/acmt

Apple Certified Macintosh Technician Certification
Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification verifies the ability to perform basic troubleshooting and repair of both desktop and portable Macintosh systems, such as iMac and MacBook Pro. ACMT certification exams emphasize identifying and resolving common Mac OS X problems, and using Apple Service and Support products and practices to effectively repair Apple hardware.

Things to consider, size of company, length of time there, sound like an ok boss.

I believe as the post PC age gets older MAC's will increase in business if for no other reason "to run windows"....weird I know. PC companies are confused look at HP was going to dump the consumer biz, an well now Dell most likely will.

Ya, Samsung in starting to make headway along with Asus, but corporate America, I'm not sure they'll buy into it.

Sound like you've learn a lot there.

If they train you and pay to get you certified, well if nothing else, I'm loyal to a fault.

All the Best,
Jed

This is an option which I had not considered as I was unaware that such a possibility existed. Following the link, I found that the OSX self guided training is relatively inexpensive at $299. I reside in a "dire straights" type of area - no real opportunity to make a decent living - college grads are bagging groceries and flipping burgers! My last big break came in 2007 when I was hired into one of the local steel mills. Alas, the economy tanked and now all five of the local steel mills are shut down forever. Due to familial situations, I am completely tied to this area.

Question: What type of edge would undertaking this self guided certification training (passing the exams, of course) give to an Apple Care applicant (or in my case - REapplicant)? I understand that this is an opinion based question, and I seek those opinions. Any insight? Please chime in.
