I bombed my third interview. Trying to reapply but it says my app is being processed and I can't apply. How long did you wait to apply with a new ID?

For anyone accepting this job through Kelly what does your Internet Max out at? My top speed is 5mbps. I was told Kelly requires 7mbps and apple requires 2mbps. I would hate to decline the job again. Someone please help!

Mines 15mbps, but maybe talk to Kelly, and ask them, explain the situation, crazy that there's that much of a difference between the 2...since it's the exact same job.....

Does apple pay weekly or biweekly?
I believe biweekly.

Does anyone know how the offer packet is sent to you. Is it through the post office or FedEx or someone else? If it's FedEx do you get any notification or does it just show up? My paperwork phone session is on the 21st. Thanks in advance. :)

Via FedEx...I received mines yesterday.

hi everyone, texas here. so here's my story... i applied directly with Apple:

5/2 - applied for SAHA position
5/6 - survey questionnaire
5/7 - 1st skype interview - was told id be pushed through to next step
5/10 - 2nd skype interview with hiring manager - went very well
5/10 - 1 hour later received link for official apple application and link for hire right BGC.
5/10-5/17 - refresh party started. trying to STOP checking my email and phone
5/17- FINALLY BGC completed! squeaky clean.
5/18 - back on the re-fresh band wagon.

My question to all is has anyone received the BGC email and NOT received a job offer. of course this is assuming the background check has returned clean. I have worked for huge name companies and this is absolutely the most extensive and excruciating process i have ever gone through. i THANK YOU ALL for posting your experiences. don't know what i would have done without you all. please excuse my grammar or lack there of. i'm at work and in a hurry. i wish all of you luck and ill keep everyone posted. :apple:

Also, if hired i will be joining the june 17th class CPU.

I have not seen anyone who's BCG came back good that did not receive an offer. That doesn't mean it's always the case but I haven't seen it happen yet. Also, I am in the June 17th CPU class. Best of luck hopefully I will see you there. :)

Start date May 20...

Supervisor, after sitting in on another team's first day, told us to open the boxes and get everything set up, especially the phone stuff. Did not say anything about turning on the computer, but we are supposed to start the day on our personal computers so I'm guessing they'll want everyone to switch on the iMac at the same time. Although I don't know if you can set up the phone system without the iMac on...

My boxes included an iPod touch along with a plethora of 'Welcome to Apple' stuff. Believe we'll have to sign an agreement about the iPod touch and send it back. Not sure why we got it (i.e. a welcome present or a learning device)...

Every team leader could have a different take on opening the boxes, etc., but mine suggested that you would be behind on the first day if you didn't go ahead and set things up.

Does anyone know how strict they are on the set up? Am I allowed to have a second monitor (for my PC) on my desk?

I would think you just have to send them a picture of your set up at first, then maybe we can modify it as much as we want after. I was pleasantly surprised about the iMac being the newest and slimmer 2012 model, rather than the thicker and heavier predecessor. And yes, it is the 21" model for those who were asking.

My only question is, when they send you your iMac do they give you an email with your Fedex tracking before you receive it?

I am hoping to get mine next week before Friday.
