So Cal
Ahh can't speak for T2 but almost no T1 makes that kind of money. Again it is solely based on location.

Oh okay. My mistake, I heard a few rumors and assumed they were true.

----------

So I just found out. I forgot iMacs were all-in-ones. Anyway, it's a core i5 running at 2.5 Ghz, 4 Gig DDR3 Memory and a Radeon HD 6750 GPU.

Not bad considering I get it with the job. If I actually buy a Mac it would probably be a single Xeon Mac Pro.... would never in a million years but a Mac at retail price though.

Ah thank God. I've been scouring this thread looking for the specs of the iMac they've been sending out. Thank you so so much for posting it hehe. I'm hoping for a 27" iMac w/ i7 but that's me just dreaming

Oh yeah, those were also figures for people working at the call centers in Cupertino, CA and the center in Dallas(?), TX not for AHA or subcontracted advisors. But like I mentioned in the earlier post, those were figures I heard from gossip on our floor. ( We started at $10 during training, $12 in production w/ a 50 cent raise @ 6 months and .25 cents per year thereafter w/ the cap being $13.75 )

How bad is OS advisor?

So im waiting to hear back after my bgc through Kelly Services and i will be in OS. They only pay $9.15, and i will have full time hours.

I see a lot of people posted here that they dislike the job and that os is very frustrating.

My local walmart pays $9.50 if you work overnight hours(id actually prefer those hours), but i really want to get into tech support that's why im going for the apple advisor job.

Is it worth it for the money kelly services pays? Would i be better off just going to my local walmart?

I have been sitting on the sidelines for about 3 weeks, reading this thread. I had my third interview on the 31st May, was told I'd hear in 2-3 weeks. I have not gotten a hireright email and believe me I've checked every folder. So can someone honestly answer, do I still have a shot, or should I be realistic and let it go?

Update, got thanks for playing email after contacting interviewer, so to answer my own question, I really think you need that hireright email to move forward.

Sounds like I shouldn't get my hopes up then. I had my 3rd interview yesterday and still have NOT received any hireright email and was told the same thing at the end of my interview. That I would here back form the recruiter within 2-3 weeks.

The experience itself is worth it. I would join up for the experience and in 6 months time or so apply DIRECTLY to Apple. iOS is a hard campaign because many customers are rude or act entitled. Not all customers are this way but there's a large percentage of your calls that will be difficult.

I worked the iOS campaign for a year before transferring to the OSX/CPU campaign. If you do accept the position just remember to try to let things roll off your back when customers get agitated or are mean or anything like that. I told myself over and over, " Quack, quack... I'm a duck... just let it roll off your back.. " I would go with the position through Kelly services. You don't have to deal with people face to face and the way people look at Wal-mart employees is kind of saddening. Invest some time with Kelly and hopefully you'll get a nice big foot in the door for Apple Inc due to your soon-to-be acquired experience.

I just talked to a friend who is in the current class. She didn't get her HireRight email until 5-6 days after her interview. I guess it all depends on the manager and Team Leads as to how long they take on their process.

What sort of telephone line does the AHA position require? I.E: Local only, Long distance calling, etc, etc.

Just a basic phone line. You won't be placing any calls, just receiving them. You are not allowed to have call waiting or caller ID. Turn all features off.

Try verizon. Let them know you need a plain old phone line with no features. Cox acted the same way. Huh?? Whaaaaa? No features? huh??? lol!

You can use Comcast. Dont let them talk you into it. They are allow to remove the features and should if you request it.

Just recieved a call for the first interview. They said they would call me back in the next few days about the position after they print my resume and review with others. I felt the interview went fine but does that sound about right with everyone?? was i suppose to get notice of a second interview right away??? i know its probably a repetitive question in the forum but i cant read all 300+ pages to find my answer lol. please answer!!!

We will find out together! I am in same boat as you. Was interviewed Monday and told my info would be passed on and I would hear from someone in the next couple days if they want to move forward. I was wondering if that was normal as well or was that a nice way of sayings thanks but no thanks.

Yes she did the exact same things. I felt like I had some pretty solid answers so I'm still keepin hope alive. Let me know if you hear anything as well! Good luck!
