How would you handle this?

I didn't not realize that the application that I put in for Kelly Services was also for Apple (I've already gone through the third application with Apple but never heard back). I originally filled out the application with Kelly Services before Apple and Kelly Services got in touch with me today. So, do I wait to see what happens or take the first one that comes along? Honestly, pay isn't the issue right now because I work a second job as a freelance graphic artist.

Ugh. Why can't this be simple.

UPDATE:
I received an email today from Apple saying that I needed to do the application thingie (after I've already gone through three interviews)... is this a good sign?

I interviewed with Kelly by phone, i turned them down though, because they said they do not allow any absences at all in the first 90 days.
I have a prepaid trip to Disney scheduled second week of October with my kids and they said they make no exceptions. They said they would call me back after October 15th to try again for the position.

I have my 3rd interview with Apple on the 20th. Hopefully they will be farm more flexible with a 5 day prepaid trip.

I really need this job.

Congrats! My BGC was completed on Tuesday June 4th so today makes day 9 of waiting for the offer call. This has been the hardest of the waiting processes for me. Up until this point I at least had a concrete date on each of the next steps during the interviews and my Hire Right email came in just hours after my final interiew. The BGC took a week to complete, but I knew it would be clear and figured on approx a week for that any ways so the wait wasn't bad. BUT the wait for the offer call to know 100% definate I have the job is killing me. What class are you in? I was told I would be in the July 1st class and am praying that date does not get pushed back.
Thank you! Mine took 6 days including the day I sent it in. Just looked it over and everything is clean (I knew it was). I got my HireRight email about 24 hours after the 3rd interview (which I was not expecting). I believe I'm in the 7/8 class. Really hoping Apple will contact me within a week, but I doubt that will happen. I don't think you'll get pushed back since there's a few weeks before the class starts, but if you do, we may be in the same class! Unless mine gets pushed back as well. lol

Yes, that's good news. The preliminary application is not the "real" application from which the recruiting process proceeds.

I received my equipment today as well.:D

I was just curious because I accepted a job with Kelly for now and was wondering if working for them would affect my chances with Apple.

No it want... I start working for apple on monday. So good luck!!!

I sort of posted this earlier. But I guess I should re-phrase it since the BGC is completed. Apple has XXX for my current address, but technically, the my mail and student loans, etc go to this address ***. HireRight never asked me for any other addresses than my current mailing address, and never asked where I was currently living. I only moved here about a month or so ago. Just a bit worried about it since I will be working/living at XXX and there is nothing proving I live here.

Any additional input is appreciated :)

Thank you! Still waiting for that second interview email. I'm slowly beginning to lose hope though since my first interview was Monday and I still haven't heard anything about a second one.

Apple probably will not be. Just a heads up. You might, if you are out of training, be able to.

Hrm. My BGC pulled up the last few places I lived... did it pull up both of those addresses for you?

Edit: BGC just completed! Now the waiting begins!

Nope just the original. I am kind of young though. Lived at the first address since I was a child.
Congrats on completion! Maybe we won't have to wait too long to hear back.

This question is for the people in the June 17th class. How many packages did you receive? In my phone session for the paperwork they kept saying 3 but I only received 2. Anyone receive 3?

Darn Murphy's Law... I've been home for weeks waiting and willing my phone to ring with an offer call....I go out to the store last night and when I get home there is a missed call and a voicemail from Apple! I have my cell phone listed as my preferred number, but they called my home phone. Naturally they were closed by the time I got home since I'm on Eastern time, so I called her back and left a voicemail. Hopefully I will hear back this morning. I feel so much better now that I know they called, just anxious to hear its official and get the details. Hopefully I'm still in the July 1st training. FYI.. The call came 9 days after my BGC completed.

If you got a call (and not a Thanks for Playing email) congrats! They're probably calling for a job offer!

Awesome AG! So happy for you. Did they leave the offer on your voicemail or just say they'd call back later? I wouldn't think this next wait will be near as hard.

Edit: Apparently I can't read when I first wake up. Rolled over and checked this thread on my phone. I haven't read the entire thread, but I've never heard of a rejection call. I guess it is possible they had a few questions for you, but I'm betting strongly it's that offer call. :D

The "third" box is inside the Large box. Don't open the boxes.

Unless something has changed Monday's class the 17th is for CPU. I don't know for sure if they start CPU and iOS on the same days. I know this because I was in Monday's class but had to move to July 8th because of an upcoming move to Orlando. P.S. You really shouldn't have opened the boxes

I was told that the position I applied for was for iOS however was also told of the possibility of cross-training to CPU. (Training for us would begin July 15th).

Was anyone else told this?
