Just had my 2nd interview, it went relatively quick and was offered a 3rd interview!! I'm so glad I had this forum to refer to and a lot of the questions I was asked I found on this thread anyway so I was prepared for it!! Now I'm just waiting for the email to schedule the 3rd interview and hopefully will be able to start with the 8/26 class I was offered! :)

for the Mac expert? or aha?

Urgent help. So I just got an offer from apple but I don't want to start on the start date offered. I should have said something to them earlier but didn't want to get denied because of that. Any suggestions on how I can push my start date to a later date?

good luck with that

you should have said something when they asked

I'm guessing they won't re do that bc they fill the classes accordingly

could be wrong tho; it's worth a shot to email your recruiter

Get together with one of the people upthread whose start dates were pushed back; approach your recruiters together to see if you can do a swaparoo?

For AHA. I have my 3rd interview next Thursday, but its looking good so far. Application and everything is filled out, so I'm super excited to get rolling! If accepted it would be August 26th class, just dont know if its for ios or what yet.

ahh ok. my third one is Monday

not sure what I'm gonna do w the hrs; I'm working full time now

hoping the Mac expert works out, since it's full time, but I'm going to still consider the part time aha. hate my job right now lol

good luck

Signed up for benefits while training. 21.5 imac is sent out. You bid for shift bids consisting of 3 4 hour shifts during the week and one 8 hour shift on the weekend to equal 20 hours a week.

gotcha, so basically they wont offer you extra hours unless they really need you. Did they atleast tell you when are the busy times of the year so hopefully I can survive off this with out a second job? Also, did they mention anything about moving to full time?

They will flex you up when the queue is busy or have required overtime from my understanding. Busy time would be the holidays and product launches or software launches. If your numbers are good there will be opportunities for you to move up, they have started hiring a lot more people and also promoting from within. If you could stand it this could turn into a career and be a decent paying one at that.

Thanks for answering my questions and for your support, funny that you mention the career part because thats my goal :D. I personally want to stay with this company as long as I can go far with it and if what your saying is true (and im sure it is) then I think I made the right decision! So do you have any tips at all for us who are going to training soon?
