Every single weekend one day. Saturday or Sunday.
Same schedule for 3 months

----------

Training can be tedious and seem repetitive. Just pay attention and take plenty of screenshots to use when you have your exams. Always pay attention and ask questions.

how about if you have something to do all weekend? can you change shifts or would you have to use PTO?

I work a non weekend job now; this might determine my switch

Have my third interview next Friday at 5:15. Really excited to start a new career and possibly get offered. So far interviews have gone well. Any advice and help on what the third interview is like is welcomed. I worked for Geek Squad for 5 years and currently work for Charter Communications now. Have excellent technical and customer service background hope it works in my favor!

If you can't work one weekend day then the job is not for you. Sorry to be blunt but thats just the way it is. When accepting the job you accept that fact.

well i am in 2 weddings in september. i know i'd be in training and not working those weekends but what if that's the case 2 years from now is what i'm asking

do you do a shift swap or use PTO?

Someone told me before on here that also works for the company, that Sundays are slow for apple, like a skeleton crew day and most of us have a 90 percent chance of having Sunday day off. How true?

Some people can get monday-friday once you get full time if you don't start out at full time. You use what you want to. Either swap or request time off and hope it gets approved.

gotcha, just was checking

yeah the AHA i have an interview for is part time; might ask about full time again during my 3rd interview on Monday. thanks for that info though

Relax. I'm sure no one physically looks at that email. It hits an inbox, it's scanned, and the words "i accept" triggers the process. When I sent mine, I got an email from a real person pretty soon after and they overnighted my new hire paperwork to me.

Yea you are probably right but I can't help but to think that, i just over think things. From what I see on here it seems that some people don't always respond to that email word for word so that what made me think its not computer scanned. I just would think it would make more sense if they had people sign into apple.com just like for our applications and respond by clicking a I accept or I decline button. But I haven't seen anybody say that they had a issue after accepting so I'm sure I don't need to worry lol

I work Sunday and I love it. But I mean thats correct, very slow less people. It all comes down to your shift bid.

No problem, anytime. Your welcome and good luck

I'm waiting for my training class to start, and your last couple of posts have been such a HUGE help. Thank you so much again for sharing with us!

Also, this is probably a stupid question since I've never seen it asked here before - but once you signed up for benefits during your training class, how soon afterward were you able to actually start using them? My current insurance plan expires this month, so now I'm trying to reschedule several medical-related appointments.

I was wondering what kind of equipment you get from apple for the adviser position. What size imac do you get?

Thanks

Day one, but keep in mind you can't miss any training. Does your doctor schedule nights or weekends?

Jm

Thank you for the quick reply! That's perfect. I was planning on rescheduling my appointments for a date after training finished, but then I started getting worried that my insurance wouldn't be available yet. Thanks again! :)

CONGRATS! Especially glad the BGC turned out to be no big deal. Awesome!

My BGC completed yesterday, so I'm just hoping that phone's gonna ring soon. Seems like they are finishing up the 8/5 class now.
