I just found an unpaid speeding ticket in my purse. I need to pay it ASAP. I wonder if that will
Show up. Also due to family reasons I left my
Last employer without notice but I've been upfront with apple in regards to that

Congratulations! That's awesome. :) Which class are you in?

They have you list three professional references.....I'm thinking they may or may not contact them. Who knows LOL.
...

I didn't list any references. Maybe HR is contacting references on some apps or calling previous employers. Seems they're getting a whiff of negativity from someone after background checks come back clean. Interesting and unsettling for those waiting.

LOL you know what, I think I mixed up the official application up with the HireRight forms. I'm trying to remember. I know on the application you had to list references but I thought on the HireRight forms you had to as well. Geez...I hate when I can't remember something! **** unsuccessfully trying to picture those forms in my head! :p

On my original application I had to list references, I haven't made it to the hireright paperwork yet, I have hiring manager interview next week

The one you have to fill out when you schedule your 3rd interview requires references

It let me submit it without it and I wasn't told I had to put them on there :/

In the email it just said to schedule the interview and do the app

Business Casual??

Question for those working for Apple through Kelly Services...

According to information I have, Advisors working from home have to wear business casual dress. In other words, no T-shirts, sweatshirts, jeans. Only khakis, polo shirts, shirts with buttons, etc., are allowed.

Is this true? If so, it kind of defeats the purpose of working from home.

Ok, 3rd interview completed, and I think I hit it out of the park, hoping anyway. Interviewer was a really nice, friendly guy, and we chit chatted quite a bit. he said he felt with my background, Id be bringing something to Apple, which made me feel confident. He said Id hear something within a couple of weeks, and within 20 min, I had the Hireright email which I completed and sent on it's way. Was asked about my background, and some scenario questions which you can find in this thread. Asked how would I feel working from home, pros and cons. Stated to me that a digital phone line is OK!!!!!!! Got that everyone???? Not the Vonage VOIP type, but a line from Time Warner is ok, analogue or digital. About a 25 - 30 min interview, and a great guy. Start date would be 10/8 and it is working with the computers i.e. Macbook etc. I was wearing Shirt and tie.

Good Luck all.
ditto just waiting on that email!

And just how exactly are they going to know? I went all the way through their hiring process and don't recall anything about a dress code. I've been wearing sandals, t-shirts and shorts to work for 12 years and that's not going to change... especially if I'm working in my home office. If they want me to turn on my web cam it's $20.00 for a 10 minute show.

That sounds like the dress code that's required when visiting Kelly offices. That's the spiel they give you when instructed to complete the I-9 and background check consent on site.

Wow I went though all the interviews, filled out the Hireright paperwork, background check came back clean. Finally got an email saying:

Thank you for your interest in opportunities with Apple. As you can imagine we received a large number of qualified applicants for this role. At this time we have chosen to move forward with other candidates that meet the needs of today. I want to personally thank you for your interest and for investing the time to speak with us about this opportunity.

Thank you again for your time and interest in Apple. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

WoW...That's what happened to my friend and thats exactly what the email said. So sorry to hear that! I don't understand why they would do that.

I think it depends on the employer. A lady that I know who got hired stated that her previous manager was asked, "would she rehire her?" Now this could have been an Apple HR coordinator that contacted her instead of HireRight. HireRight will not verify employment older than 5 years. This is why I believe the actual HR department may do some of the onboarding. This is pure speculation based off what I've heard and assumed from those who have gotten hired with no employment verification on their background reports sent back to Apple.

Employers are worried about lawsuits, but for employee verification purposes, some employers will not recommend you to a potential employer if you were a troubled employee especially if you got fired. I am studying Human Resource management now and they are laws that protect employers. I use to interview technicians and check references and you won't believe some of the stories I have heard from previous employers!

Employers can only answer dates of employment, usually that and maybe if they would re-hire you.
