Now that the phones have True Tone, "yellow gate" will be back in force.![]()
Same, but black 256GB. Have you tried tracking by reference?

Mine isnt showing yet either
I've had some other UPS items act similarly. My assumption (no shipping expert) is that scans get missed, then the next scan, it try's to autocorrect to the next "logical" scan. The human on the end of a scanner/automated system probably doesn't always catch these exceptions. Not stressing, I think it's humorous. Our phones must be in the same batch....this is exactly the same as mine lol.
Hey! How'd yours get to Anchorage already? Mine arrived in Shanghai the same exact time as yours but still hasn't left there...Mine has departed Anchorage

That and also sometimes the scanners are mobile, and if they have an issue syncing, may not sync until later. Improper configuration, or a user logged in with a specific role/task that says they are scanning "in" when they are actually scanning out. Also, could be scans from within the facility or separate warehouses - often they will get scanned out of one and into another, like if they are being held.I've had some other UPS items act similarly. Are you sure this isn't your Apple watch? the scan timing and weight look to be that it's your watch... if you sign into MyChoice on the UPS website it will allow you to see the reference numbers so you can verify with your Apple order.Hey! Orders started being processed on Saturday. All orders are held at facility until hand off to carrier later this week.I was refreshing my MyChoice to get an update for someone on my Apple Watch status after I checked it 10 minutes ago, and mine just showed up too! You have no idea how giddy I got when I saw AI (short for Apple, Inc) show up on my MyChoice dashboard! View attachment 718575
Edit: Also, I am in Western NY - even the US Mail comes from Harrisburg overnight. So frustrating when I know if UPS didn't pay attention it could be here in the afternoon tomorrow!
Haha, welcome to MacRumors and the thread - we already covered this thoughOrders started being processed on Saturday. All orders are held at facility until hand off to carrier later this week.
What is the correct reference # for UPS... or, how do you track by reference on Fedex?
I haven't seen any FEDEX reporting yet.Are any of these FedEx? It seems reading the thread I’m seeing only UPS. I may have overlooked some though.
Nor have I. I have only had 1-2 launch products ship via FedEx. All depends. Usually Apple uses FedEx for their repair shipments and parts (I am an ACiT and ACMT at an AASP that's how I know). UPS generally handles any of their international shipping, as I am sure that UPS' prices are cheaper than FedEx for this level of int'l shipping, but again all depends on the year as I have seen FedEx do the shipments from China too a few times. But seems when they go to launch, they choose 1 carrier - and that's a smart move on Apple's part.I haven't seen any FEDEX reporting yet.
a lot of people have used their phone number as the reference # to find their tracking # early for UPS. I believe its the same for Fedex.

thanks! do you type the entire phone number with area code or something else?
yep. use the area code but no dashes. ex.) 9995551234
You can also try using your Web order# (Wxxxxxx) minus the last 2 digits. Or UPS MyChoiceCool... looks like no dice for me just yet.

I ordered at 12:01 AM and there's still no tracking for me, probably just a delay. Is there anyone that is on the upgrade program that has already found a tracking number? I ordered at 12:02 and still can't find tracking on UPS or FedEx. Plane tracking is one of my favorite things about preorder season and I hope they aren't packaging the return boxes with the phones stateside.
