They should refund the payment when your new phone loan starts. Give a call to Citizens or Apple once you receive your new one, when the close the old loan out they should refund it to you.
Fedex will always round up their package. So It will be 2 pounds. When I ordered the iPhone 7 Plus last year, it weight about 1.01 pounds (just an estimation)I have something in Fedex showing up coming from pss in Davenport Iowa, with a weight of 0.91 i
Kg, or 2 lbs. Ordered a 8+. Thing that makes me doubt it's the phone is it says it's shipping by FedEx smartpost, which is where the y transfer it to USPS for final delivery. I do have a promotional item I'm waiting on as well. Guess I'll have to wait for a tracking number or at least more info to hit the tracking.
All of the UPS times (unless they say "E.T.") next to them, are in local time. The East coast of China is exactly 12 hours AHEAD of us on the East Coast of the US. So, 11pm. here is 11am. there, the next day.been trying to figure out if my phone is on a flight or just traveling around china, but lord flight tracking is confusing lol. on ups.com tracking it says it departed shanghai on 9/17 at 10:55 am and I got the notification around 11pm last night.
I think early on Yes. But they don't require signature upon delivery at later point. When I ordered an iphone back in January 2017. My order page said "Signature not required upon Delivery".Yes, Apple does require a signature. They give you the option to print a release form that you can sign and pin to your door, but the delivery driver has the discretion of whether or not to leave the package.
I am going to assume it is automatic, like once your old phone gets sent in and processed, Citizens will refund any payments made 30 days prior - that's what a few other forum members said a few days ago. I suggest calling now before it gets busy when the new phones arrive and see if you can confirm their answer.Do we need to call to initiate the refund or is the refund automatic? My payment was 1-2 days before I pre-ordered my 8+.

No problem! Us launch-day folks gotta stick together!I appreciate the info, thank you. Will do![]()
Wait, this is really a thing? Can I change the delivery address to where I'll be? I won't be home. Also, I don't yet have tracking for my 256gb Sprint 8+ that I ordered at 12:01.
Op..Can we make this a sticky thread? Why is this thread not a sticky thread?

You couldn’t be more wrong. I got my 7+ Jet Black on launch day last year. Just say “I’m not sure” or don’t reply at all and move on.
This if for tracking orders from Apple.com site.
I will post the tracking links once we get through the pre-orders.
Here they are:
Once our orders move to processing and we should start seeing some movement to 'preparing for shipment' over the weekend since release date Sept 22th.
Once this happens we should be able to get details on your phone and let the tracking begin
Here are some notes to help track orders:
Apple will automatically add your phone with it's serial number in your support profile. You can see it here:
https://supportprofile.apple.com/
update new page redirected to but only gives you the devices your id belongs to:

I would disagree. I'd estimate that over 99% of ALL pre-ordered wares from Apple are delivered on the promised delivery date, or earlier... regardless of new colors, etc. Even the JetBlack phones were delivered as promised, or earlier.
Same, 8+ 64GB Space Gray....when you think it will change to shipped?
If you have the delivery/pick up date for Sept 22nd then you are good.
I would say slim to none...more like none..If it will be shipped directly from China, then it should be changed latest tomorrow IMHO.
What is the chance to get it delivered before 22nd ?![]()
Nope. I was here Day in and out last year. There were "0" pre-ordered JetBlack 128GB 7+'s that arrived on launch day last year. That's a fact / Apple even acknowledged. There were only 10 at my local Apple Store. Epic fail on Apple's part there. But you're right with regard to most years.
Last year was the first year one whole class of new phones didn't deliver on launch day. Very well documented.
Not if you have a reservation. I already have a reservation for a black but was just hoping they'd have a sliver I could switch to.I notice that too
I noticed that too, does that mean you have to stand in line on Friday ?
Question: Of those "0 pre-ordered JetBlack 128GB7+" phones that failed to arrive on launch day were PROMISED (via "delivers on" at the time of ordering)? That particular device was extremely constrained from the beginning... and very few (if any) actually got a "delivers on" date of the release date when they were ordered.
My point stands... if you pre-ordered a device, and got a "delivers on" date for release day (this year 9/22), you will get your device on 9/22, whether you get any tracking info, whether you can find your phone within UPS/FedEx tracking systems, etc, or not.
Agree 100%. We just get anxious here. I have been "preparing to ship" for two days now. I won't freak as I've had a delivery day of 09/22 since the order was placed but I'd love to see a tracking number or something soon (probably tomorrow or a Wednesday) so I can call and switch to pick up from the delivery company.
