Now, isn't great to have a choice! And what a fabulous choice we have this year!
I think I’m gonna hold off on the X this year and see what they come out with next year.
Important note, at least for me. The phone number used in reference is billing phone number (the number associated with the CC you used to preorder).
Guys. From my order from Sept 15 3:10AM (12:10) just changed it right now from sept 25-oct2 to a specific sept 26 delivery next day air. and my order still is "Order In Progress"... and with any charge yet on my CC. (Sim-Free 64Gb SG 8+ pay in full)
Thinking Thursday night for the overnight folks and we'll have to wait until then I am still in preparing to ship with overnight.
Not really. Some over night have tracking numbers now.

I wanted to get on the iPhone Upgrade Program and I didn't want to have to wait until November of next year to upgrade so I went ahead and ordered an 8+ just now. I might also try and get in on an iPhone X, but if the shipping time is months like everyone thinks it will be, I might just stick with the 8 for a while.
Although my order still says preparing for shipment, I logged into my choice on ups and it says I have a delivery from Apple for Friday
my iPhone says pick up window iPhone 8 plus 256gb black for 8am Friday at my local Apple Store, my card was charged on Sunday but order still says in progress
It said September 26 when I ordered. I'm hoping it will actually be a little sooner than that, but that was the estimate I got upon order.
I'm waiting for the X, but was just messing around on Apple.com configuring the 8 and I noticed there is no option with upgrade pricing. On vzw.com I have lines eligible for upgrades and it shows upgrade pricing of $249.99 and $349.99 for the 8 Plus.
In the past on Apple.com, I have always been able to utilize this upgrade pricing on eligible lines by entering my Verizon phone number and account PIN. I'm not seeing that option this year. Can anyone help? I've had poor experiences with the vzw.com website during launches and would just assume use the Apple Store app. Can anyone help?

I honestly thought Verizon dropped the very last people from that plan back in Jan 2017. Meaning no one would ever have this offered again. Best Buy was dropped from the program then too. I don't think Apple had it as an option last year either. Maybe?
Verizon may be the only place this is even available.
