Ordering was super easy and not as bad as I thought. I wonder what's taking them so long to update our shipping status's... if I don't get an update tomorrow, I'm calling apple

What's "taking so long" is that it's only Tuesday and they won't be delivered anywhere before Friday. There is plenty of time... And why would you be calling Apple? It's not late. It won't be late. And what do you expect Apple to do about the lack of updates from UPS / FedEx anyway?

It's all going to be ok... time for a bit of patience...

Lol. Had a hard time restraining myself from replying. They are set to next day shipping. Some will not see signs untill Thursday.

Question for those in the know. If I want to start an IUP for my X when I purchase it will I have to go through everything online to get my preorder in or is it store pickup and then they get me qualified in store? I'm hoping it is store pickup so that I can get through the pre order line quicker.

Qualifying for IUP is done online however you do have the option to pick it up in store.

My Watch left Hong Kong at 3:52am as well, so is probably on the same flight. However, I did notice this on the UPS website regarding Cathay Pacific flights:

"Lithium Batteries
All types of Lithium Batteries are prohibited on Cathay Pacific flights (which UPS use for shipments to Hong Kong.)"

iPhones/Apple Watches have Lithium Batteries. Maybe their is an exception for Apple?

It’s weird I ordered though apple for Verizon and they’ve taken thes taxes out and put them in my account three times. Maybe tonight is the last night

I bought it in the spanish apple store the first day. On saturday the status changed to prepared for shipment and it continues in the same status.
But on the bank side... until today the charge appears like detained and today it's finally full charged.

I sold my Iphone 7 Plus in less than 2 hours online on Saturday night. The buyer agreed to wait until I can ship on Friday when the new phone arrives. Is anyone else selling their old phone or are you trading yours in?

There's no way it will be delivered before Friday, that is the shippers instructions to hold back delivery.

I am thinking they have already shipped but Apple is holding onto the tracking data to spare the shipper's sites from being hammered.

Some people are able to locate their tracking numbers using their phone number as a reference. I myself have had no luck

The ****** thing for those of us with next day that can't yet track our package is we can't set it to be picked up at the store right now. By the time I could last year my local UPS store couldn't handle holding any more

I’m turning mine back in to AT&T because I’m on Next. I did the selling thing for several years and the last time I did it (the year before Next became a thing), I had endless hassles with sketchy buyers (2 canceled sales after I’d collected the money from PayPal, resulting in my PP acct being suspended for a while ), so I was just as happy to just go with Next. I may forfeit some $$, but to me it’s worth it not to have to deal with the bullsh*t.

Maybe. I'm in Colorado, so that wouldn't be illogical, I just assumed it would go through the UPS hub in KY first...I can't recall as its been a few years since I went through the "hysteria."

Not remotely weird if its next day...and not that weird otherwise. A lot of these phones probably haven't been broken down off large shipment containers/pallets. IF you haven't seen anything by this time tomorrow...I'd maybe take a couple deep breaths, but given the underwhelming fanfare of this release, I imagine better than 99% of the people that got a 9/22 delivery, will get it 9/22...unless there are slips from shipping carrier.

I set mine up today to be picked up at the UPS Customer Care Center. I'll have it in my hands by 9am Friday!
