Hello friends! I'm in an interesting predicament and was hoping for some advice. I signed up for the iPhone Upgrade Program while living in the US on ATT when I purchased the 7plus, and moved to Ireland last year in December. I no longer have an ATT account, and I'll be back in late November to visit some family.
Will this work for the iPhoneX? Preorder it under TMobile and have it shipped to family's house, go sign up for a T-Mobile plan at one of their stores to activate it, and then cancel the service and start using my Irish SIM card?
Do we know the timeframe your existing phone must be shipped back with the trade in kit? Do you get charged for the full price until the old phone is received?

Definitely agree with this. Patience is the virtue. If you ordered right at pre-order and you were given the 9/22/17 delivery date. YOU will get it on the delivery date. Calling Apple will probably not help as if you give them your order number, they will simply tell you what's on the page.

Not sure how that that works with UPS. But for Fedex even if you get tracking today or tomorrow, you still can request a hold for pick up for the promised date delivery. I'm pretty sure that's the same case for UPS. Whether it's UPS or Fedex. I will jump on the tracking page on Thursday 9 PM and will request a hold for pick up on Friday. Never had any issues with this.
Looks like the flight from Anchorage to Louisville landed a little over an hour ago. Should start seeing arrival scans soon I think!
You can absolutely have it held at the customer center. But not necessarily a local UPS store (My local store is 3 miles close than the Customer Center). UPS stores only hold so much. Last year they would not hold it at the closer store, had to do customer center. I am talking about the stores.
Some, not all of them. Several people have been able to find their phone via ups/fedex reference numbers and have reported that they are stateside already.
Yes you can hold it at the UPS Stores. All my packages gets redirected to the UPS store for pick up and with no problems able to pick it up at the UPS stores.
Anyone in Canada have their phones leave Burlington? It’s been at shipping label created since Sunday.
I redirected this morning to the local UPS customer care center, which is at their hub in town. I'm seeing an available pick-up of 9/22.
In the past, there was no delay for me. But they usually take it later in the day opposed to early morning as they have to deliver the business route first.
This should really start to pick up on tonight and definitely tomorrow.
There might be, depending on the location you select to pickup. If you choose a Customer Center, it shouldn't - since that is the sort hub or one of the local sort hubs. If you go through the process to select a location to deliver to, it will tell you the day it will be available. If it says 9/22 that means that it will be available the day of your order, usually in the morning. Check for locations with Early Pickup - these ones generally have packages ready for pickup starting at 8:30am.
Yeah, there are several of us in the same boat (ha). No movement since Sat in terms of status updates. The same thing happened a few launches ago when I found out that mine had started off in TN, if I remember right, and so showed no tracking activity until maybe the day before launch.
Yeah looking back at my email last year u didn't receive a shipping notification until that Thursday so tomorrow we should all be good.

Suspect it will officially show "Shipped" on Thurs. perhaps. But just knowing its there and on its way Friday is a relief.

For those that have experience preordering and reserving in store, should we see a “shipped to store” status like it says on the Apple website if you click on the “what are the different states of an order” help option? According to Apple when you check your order status and click this option at the bottom, that is supposed to be one of the things it says, so I’m curious if anyone has experience with this.
I have no doubt that my phones will be at the store for pick up at 1030 on friday, I’m just jealous of everyone’s status changing.....

I pre ordered a watch and a phone, I checked UPS my choice and found a tracking number from China, it has left AK yesterday. The weight is 3.10kgs which is awful heavy for being just a watch or just a phone. I wonder if they packed them together even tho I ordered them separately on different days. Both orders have the same delivery date set for Friday. Apple site still says "preparing for delivery" but both my charges have been charged days ago.
