The phone MISSED the 10:30 flight out of ICN!!!! I don’t see any other UPS flights out ICN until ***MONDAY NIGHT****
Yes, me too. I order way too much stuff online, so I have UPS deliveries at least once a week, and this is a highly unusual path for a package to take. I'm just trying to have faith that the system will work. I remember the tracking being weird for previous iPhone launches too, and I have always gotten the device on the day Apple has told me I would, so let's hope the streak continues.....
Ok, this ability to track your package on the truck is torture. Truck was literally at the end of my street for a delivery, and now has left the neighborhood and is a couple of miles away headed the wrong direction!
Yeah - I need to go do something else instead of sitting on the sofa refreshing my screen every minute to see if the truck moved!
yeah this is definitely not an improvement at all. basically they only need to have the general status: "on the road", "in your area", and "almost there" - just those alone would satisfy most of us!!
I have mine set to pick up at the CC. Will it say say “ready for pick up”? Mine still says departure scan (but in my city). I’m ASSUMING it’s moving from the plane to the main hub? I hope.... lol

That’s just not right! As I remember, my driver will cross the street instead of going down the street twice. I ran out to his truck when I got my 8 Plus
So this sucks. Apparently UPS is too stupid to put both iPhone X that I ordered on the truck. I ordered two and they. They happily make their way from China, hand in hand without issue. Then they hit Dallas last night at 10:30pm and one continued on to local facility to be delivered today while the other is, I’m assuming, just sitting on a shelf or something equally asinine. Contacted UPS and got a call back from a not helpful individual who just said that since there isn’t an exception on the delivery, she doesn’t know what happened to it and they can’t lay hands on it, so I have to wait until Monday. How awesome. What recourse do I have or do I just get to suffer at the hands of their incompetence?
Had a 9 am pickup time this morning from my local store. So nice that I work less than a mile from it. Stopped in on my way to work this morning. Got there and was 4th in line for the 9 am appointments. Waited about 5-6 minutes and was in and out of the store, including activating the phone and trying on AirPods, in about 15-20 minutes. Super easy time. Not as many people as I thought were waiting in line, though.
Did it say it was ready for pickup? Mine has said destination scan for 6 hours but never said to pickup
It's in the UPS app. It's a great app. I highly recommend downloading USPS, UPS, and Fed Ex apps. They all allow you to do much more than on the web, like track the vehicle (just found this out today)
I think my ups guy is taking his lunch he is sitting off the road at a electrical substation...has been on my street once already this morning...and I have to leave in the next hour!!! This is killing me lol
