On another topic, it feels so small at light compared to my last 3 Plus models. But the screen doesn't seem small at all. It just feels great.

Everyone should also remember that if you did a restore from backup your phone will need to re-index which will hurt battery life for awhile. After a few days it will be back to normal though.
My delivery dates are going in the wrong direction.
I ordered an AT&T every year NEXT SG 256G X via the Apple store on the 27th and received my order confirmation email at 00:10 PDT. I was given delivery dates of Nov 17 - Nov 24.
On 2 Nov at 01:30 am PDT my CC was charged for the taxes. I figured that things were looking up. Nope. I just checked my order status and now my delivery dates are 20 Nov - 27 Nov. Go figure!!

I have a question, hope anyone is able to answer: so I ordered my iPhone X 64 GB Silver, and a friend of mine told me about the reservation option which I totally forgot about. The problem is: I already paid for my order on the Apple Online Store. Now I'm left with not enough money to make a reservation and pay at the store.
Now, I was wondering: does anyone have experience with 'switching' your Online order for a reservation? Like, if I'm able to make a reservation to pick up an iPhone X tomorrow, can I use the receipt of my Online Store order instead of paying for the device again?
Because that would be totally epic, and I would definitely go for it.

Quick update: iPhone X is up and running as of about 5:15pm. It took over 2 and half hours to finally activate, after a trip to the Sprint store that did nothing and a trip to the Apple Store only to have it actually finally work just after I got in the cue for an Apple Technician to look at it. Thankfully those two places are only about 15 minutes from my house. Face ID is great, but I must admit I have hit the bottom of the phone a couple times out of habit to press a home button that isn't there. Interested to see how it does tonight in my dark bedroom. Now to wait for the return box and wipe my 7plus. It has served me well.

same here. 3:11 est att next I see a zero dollar hold on my card I'm hoping tomorrow it will be cleared and it will say the 90 something dollars
Same here: 256GB Space Gray with T-Mobile with Nov 17-24 delivery window and no movement since the day I pre-ordered it. It’s pretty clear Apple prioritized those iUP orders to avoid the bad press the had last year.

My charge is for the full tax amount and it has been on my card since 2 Nov 1:30 am PDT. I just got off the phone with Apple and was told to disregard the fact that my delivery dates moved in the wrong direction (from 17-24 to 20-27 Nov) because of the fact that my card was charged for the full tax amount trumps all other indicators. I was advised that I should be seeing preparing to ship soon. Hopefully, the Apple rep knew what he was talking about.
I was told today that chances are that you will get it before 11/16. I have the same ship dates between 11/16 -11/24. Fingers crossed

Reporting back in. I thinking the X was hot while it was updating,iCloud backup pairing to watch and playing with it while charging. It still gets worm but not as hot as it was before.
No evidence that IUP got priority. I bought a 256 SG Tmobile with an initial ship date of 10-17. Got phone today.
I was going to give a few hours or a day. Then switch back to true tone off. At first glance true tone was not that special. It does reduce the blue screen coloring when iPhone is turned off axis.
