Arrived ~5pm Fri :)
Blown away so far with this new phone.

1) Small size large screen is killer
2) Face ID is seamless and a non-issue
3) It is silky smooth from a performance standpoint (old iPhone 6 Plus was laggy after iOS 11)
4) Gestures took about 30min to get used to without a home button but it’s a non-issue now.
5) The notch doesn’t bother me, I thought it would but I don’t really notice it at all.

Belkin glass screen protector was a bear to install. On 1 iPhone X I got it installed perfectly on the other not so much. It was pricey for what it is. I still wish Apple sold the iPhone’s with an option to have the screen protectors installed but I don’t ever see that happening.

FINALLY. I stood in line by 4am Friday morning (even tho I had a preorder 17 Nov) and got my X by about 9:30. Apple store was pretty good, efficient. Handed out snacks and water to everyone. Yes they finally came down the line saying only 2 phones per person per day. Guaranteed a lot of people were there to flip them for a good profit.
Anyway the phone is awesome. I only got the 64gb ‘cause I had a 64gb before and still had 30gb free. Form factor is smaller than my 6s+. Glass is so nice. Face id works as advertised. Takes getting used to the new gestures but ultimately looks to be more efficient.

Yes, I did cancel my preorder. Worth the wait everyone!

If the Apple site and iStocknow show your Apple store as having no stock, then it's basically like the lottery - you're hoping to walk in, just after they've received a shipment - before anyone else is aware of it (as, as soon as it's scanned into store inventory, people will be reserving it for pickup).

Tons of people were doing this last night when I was picking up my wife’s phone with her. Portland seems to have lots of stock. All the stores got restocked again this morning too.
 
Still no update on both of my IUP pre-orders completes minutes after the store opened. Anyone see any movement this weekend?

There was stock of the silver 256 locally yesterday and today. No SG though. I have one silver and one SG 256 ordered.
 
Anyone else in my boat?

I preordered within the first minute, so this whole time my scheduled delivery was Friday November 3rd. However, my package never got delivered on Friday even though it said it was waiting at my local UPS facility. Then yesterday the updated delivery said Monday, November 6th. However, I wake up this morning and this is what I see... All of the tracking information is gone and there is no expected delivery date. It has been 5 minutes away from my house at the local UPS place for over 54 hours!!!

As of today, Sunday, still no updates on mine. Apple.com still says Delivers Nov 13, last scan is still 11/3 waiting for clearance agency. Anybody else in the same boat?

Anyone have any idea what this means on the UPS site? It's hard to tell when it will actually show up, between the Apple info and the UPS info.

Ironically, I could've walked into the Apple store today to get it - who would've thought...too late now, though...

Nothing yet on my end 11/17 11/24 had order in at 2:16 am central time. I’m going to wait it out
 
So I did no preordering at all for the iPhone X, absolutely nothing. I checked the front page of MacRumors yesterday which talked about the retail store pick up option, and there wasn't a phone available that I wanted when I checked. Woke up at 8am PST today (Sunday) and a bunch of stores in LA had stock. Ordered my phone, it's ready for pickup at 11:30am. Silver Verizon 64gb.

That was a completely painless process and I'm getting the phone I wanted. No waiting at all. I'm stoked!

Well shortly after your screen shot the app updates to custom clearance 5:51 eastern probably Louisville but does not say. 3 hours later I get that it arrived in Louisville and import scan done. Just now it departed Louisville. yeah taking time for the last scans seems nothing much for some time after leaving Anchorage before the info caught up and it seems to be coming better from the major UPS hub in Louisville. you might want to all check the status again of your Korean tour phones.... ;-). good luck

[doublepost=1509907329][/doublepost]I am not sure what plane it left anchorage on but none of the UPS ones we tracked one friend found that some of ours seem to have left with a Korean Air superjet and got to Anchorage in 90 minutes (he was digging in the flight aware app to figure out time differences in departure and arrival in Anchorage.

Probably UPS99 based upon timing. Also remember the scans are probably screwy because it’s going back in time chronologically.

Mine is too. 256SG. Strangely my wife’s shipped the day prior and will be here tomorrow.

My phone is still in Louisville and hasn’t left, even though it arrived before yours.

Wow you have much different times. Obviously the Korean tour phones did not all fly together to Louisville

Where is your phone going to in general if I may ask?

Full price paid? I’m part of the 11/17-24 group as well but my card hasn’t been charged yet :(
 
UPS and Fedex groups their planes in bunches so they all take off and land around the same time so they can unload and sort more efficiently. Tonight if you look at the flight list there are 7 planes alone from Anchorage that take off within about an hour of each other. If your phone didn't make the same plane as someone else it most certainly isn't too far behind.
