Coming from a 7 plus and a 6 plug before that its very underwhelming in your hand, but it's nice to feel like I have control again while walking and using my phone. Screen is great and face ID has only failed this morning while laying on my side after shutting off my alarm. I imagine its because half my face was still buried in my pillow haha. It's also insanely fast, like uncanny. Haven't taken any serious photos, but plan to tonight as I'm going to see a friend perform so I'm hoping to see how low light pictures come out.

You recent "shipping soon" guys -- did you order on the apple upgrade program? based on this thread, it looks like those phones are shipping "first" or sooner than other orders.

i actually joined the apple upgrade program the night that i ordered the 10. the reason why is bc i wanted to use the 10 for the next year until the 10 plus comes out ;)

I ordered around 12:17AM night of pre-order and paid in full for a TMobile Silver 256GB.
Got original estimate of 11/17-24. See the "pre" charge on cc today and order changed to "Preparing for shipment". Kind of bummed I didn't get bumped/could've grabbed one in a store by now. Oh well, so it goes. :)

Ordered 1 minute ahead of you same tmobile silver 256gb. original est of 11/17-24 - got pre charged this past saturday morning and still no change in my status! what the hell is going on?

Almost the same here except I was charged $99.42 yesterday morning which is the tax on the phone.
 
well, my tmobile website order which I placed at 10:45 am est on 10/27 just shipped - 256 silver paid in full. my apple app order at 3:16am est 10/27 is still 11/17-24 - no movement except for a pre charge on my cc this past saturday morning. I am cancelling my apple.com order now.

T-Mobile decided to satisfy all pre orders first before stocking their stores which is the right way to do it in the first place. What’s the use of pre ordering if you can walk into a store and get your phone before the people who stayed up to pre order?

That is exactly the point. Pre-order has no value at all if people (though having the stand in hours-long lines) can get it before. It's just not "good" business practice. It's disingenuous.

Definitely agree. I don't remember exactly when my order was submitted on Apple's website, but the email confirmation arrived at 18 minutes after mid-night on 10/27. Still stuck on Order In Progress with a delivery date of 11/17 - 11/24...

Not only that but none of the 12 Apple Stores around me had plenty in-store on 10/28 except for the T-Mobile version. :(

Pre-order has plenty of value. You get a phone without having to leave the comfort of your home. You don’t have to deal with searching for which stores have stock. You don’t have to spend hours queueing up in front of the store.

But I don’t think that a company that has retail outlets is being disengenuous for offering a few units for sale in those stores.
 
Mine was Shipped Today, My Order was placed on 10/27/17 3:26 a.m.

You know what is strange? I am seeing a lot of you like me with a Nov 17-24 delivery but I have not seen much of any deliveries in the range of Nov. 10 or Nov. 10-17 range either. What happened to them? Wonder why? Are you guys out there? Whats your status if you are there?

was wondering this too.

Anyway mine was just shipped it says November 17th.. seems like a long time to get to NY.
For those that have gotten a shipping email whats you're time frame?

After I cancelled my Apple Online pre-order with AT&T next plan on the Apple Store Website. It released my eligibility with AT&T again about 5 minutes after I cancelled the order. And allowed me to order from the Apple Store again, but this time with Store pickup option.

You can check the Apple Stores in your area iPhone X availability from within the Apple Store app. Just choose the iPhone X you want and you will see a check store availability link under the continue button to check your local store stock. It updated for me around 6am in the morning and shown my iPhone X in stock.
