No, I didn’t have the problems you experienced. After about 5 minutes after my Apple Store pre-order cancellation on Apple Store’s website, I was able again to place a new order for store pickup. No issues.
Woohoo! Mine just shipped, unfortunately still says the 17th -_- but at least it’s on the way

Mine is similar except one day earlier.. Something is going on in Korea. My delivery date is 11/9
UPDATE 11/7 11:34PM PST: UPS changed the delivery date to 11/13 :-( . Checking UPS tracking & flightaware is a waste of time. I'm not doing pre-order next year, that's for sure.

I thought the same thing until yesterday. My wife's order went thru around 310am - on the Apple site, 256gb space gray T-Mobile phone. She paid for it in full with her credit card.
Yesterday morning her card was charged and her status is now "preparing for shipment."
Grrr I had a 11/9/2017 date for delivery and now I get 11/13!! It is in Chep lak kok, Hong Kong. What the hell is it doing there. It went from china to korea and back down to hong kong??
Mine too. Not sure what the delay in Incheon is about, but still holding out for on time Friday delivery.
Mine was in Korea as of yesterday and it ended up back in Hong kong and my date changed from 11/9 to 11/13.
Ordered morning of Oct 27 from Apple store. I had delivery estimate moved up from week of Dec 8 to week of Dec 1 in a couple of days. But no movement since. I'm wondering if I can walk into local store and pick one up at this point. I've read about a few people doing just that.
Maybe between the three of us we can overload UPS's servers. For my part, I tend to check at least once an hour. Where the hell is the plane!?
My November 20-27 Aproximate Delivery 256GB Space Gray iPhone X just shipped. The UPS tracking status says "The package is awaiting clearing agency review. / The package is at the clearing agency awaiting final release."

There’s a flight leaving Incheon in five minutes. Any of my palette mates who believe in prayer might want to start chanting about now.
If you look at the flight patterns from Incheon (Seoul, Korea) to Anchorage on FlightAware.com you'll see that there is only ONE flight per day, usually departing Incheon around 11am (Korea time) each day. My phone is among the same group and those phones did not make the flight yesterday. Today's flight took off 35 mins ago link to flight here.
My guess is that the UPS tracking will update within the next few hours with a depart Incheon time as being 11:22pm KST. If the phones did not make today's flight, I'm expecting the delivery date which was for the 10th to get bumped.
Same thing happened to mine. Been stuck in Incheon since yesterday 7:52pm, local time. My guess is that Trump's recent Asia tour probably backed things up at the airports. His arrival to South Korea was on the same day (11/7), so that might have impacted flight schedules. Hopefully not though.
I believe T-Mobile ships all pre-orders via UPS Next day air saver - that is, if you order directly from them either by phone or web
