It would be absolutely unprecedented for Apple not to have massive preorders arriving on the second Friday after launch day. LOADS of u should be getting your phones today (2-10 group).

Has anyone contacted UPS regarding these phones just sitting in China? Wtf is going on. 3 days now with no sign of leaving ZhengZhou.

I got rescheduled to 11/14 as well. Just checked UPS again and it’s back to 11/10!
Yep just woke up to the same thing. I guess we shall see if I get i today.

Oh wow! Lucky! I thought all of us 17-24's were slated for 11/15 earliest. You're the first 11/10 I've read here.
There’s s a lot in here. I was 16-24 from the jump.

I was 17-24 and I cancelled my order yesterday bc there was zero progress since the night of preorders. Status was still "Order in progress" for 2 weeks + now so I took the risk and cancelled my order. I'm a gambling man! Will try to secure one on my own as countless others have done successfully.

I was also reschheduled from 11/10 to 11/14, but this morning it’s at my local airport and scheduled for delivery today. I was watching it’s progress last night, and thought that it might be delivered today based on others experience, but I wasn’t holding my breath. I usually have my packages held for pickup, but I’m not going to take a chance of throwing a wrench into the works this late in the process. Woot!

Really?! Been watching daily.. 90% of them were 2-->10 folks. But not everyone is putting their orig dates in each update post. Probably where I missed it.

Yeah go back a bunch of pages. There are people in the 11/17-24th group who received their phones the 6th etc. I know 2 people who received theirs as well. One Monday and one Tuesday. Both were in the 17-24th timeframe.

Those were all/mostly IUP(sp? Apple Upgrade Plan) people. I know about them getting phones early. I thought we would all be understanding that I was referring to non-IUP people. I don't know of anybody but that one guy that's been non-IUP in the 17-24 group and has gotten their phone.

Obviously everyone is eagerly awaiting their phone, but the logistics behind how we end up with them is amazing. 74 hours ago my phone was literally on the other side of the planet and now it's on it's way to me today.

All times converted to EST (philadelphia time)
Mon 10:30a Depart ZhengZhou China
Thu 11:19a Depart Incheon South Korea

Then it gets staggeringly fast...

Thu 3:36p Arrive Anchorage Alaska
Thu 6:23p Depart Anchorage Alaska

Fri 12:47a Arrive Louisville KY
Fri 4:35a Depart Louisville KY

Fri 6:12a Arrive Philadelphia Airport
Fri 6:47a Depart Philadelphia Airport
Fri 7:47a Arrive Horsham PA
Fri 8:36a On truck out for delivery

In Louisville the plane gets unloaded, all of the packages go through customs and then individually get rerouted & loaded onto to the next flight, in my case Philly, in less than 4 hours.

The plane lands in Philly and then 35 minutes later my phone is already on a truck headed to the local UPS hub. The drive to Horsham from Philly airport is about an hour, and it was done in rush hour traffic. No idea how it got there in an hour, but it did.

Once at the local hub, the package gets processed and on the truck for delivery in less than an hour.

It really is astounding. It's as if the only package they're handling is my one box, but when you consider the volume of packages....

Anyway, to those who are looking at their UPS track logs and thinking there's no way... For me it was 40 hours or so after getting to Alaska that it's on the truck for delivery.

mind boggling and efficient indeed. i am fascinated by the tech behind all of the efficiencies in warehouses, airplane hangers, etc that make this all happen.

My order is not IUP and is delivering today. Originally in the 17-24 group. Silver 256 TMobile Paid in full.

After 24+ hours of no movement in ZengZhou, there's movement again for my shipment which is now in South Korea. UPS has updated the schedule delivery date from 11/15 to "information is not available at this time". Hopeful that it will be in Alaska tomorrow, although I'm not sure if packages move on the weekend? I'm assuming they don't.
