48 hours sitting in Incheon with no movement over the weekend.

#firstworldproblems

Your iPhone X shipping timeline is identical to mine with two exceptions. Two of my times are two minutes later on “waiting for clearance.”

I’ve ordered every iPhone since the original iPhone on pre-order day within 5 minutes of
online access. Same Apple Watch.

I have rarely received weekend updates when an iPhone lands in Korea on Friday. (The original iPhone shipped from Cupertino.) Typically these notification appear late Sunday evening or Monday morning. However, the experience could be quite different because of low stock. My iphone’s serial number indicates it was manufactured last week— so, Sunday, Monday, or Tuesday. Shipped Wednesday.

That is lightning fast shipping after manufacture. I’m thinking they have a massive backlog at the shipping docks.

Has anyone been sitting in Incheon longer than me? l've seen a few people with exactly the same time as me, but not earlier.

Mine is sitting in Shanghai, China. It says delayed but at the same time it says: on time will be delivered on Nov 16, Thursday. Should I be worried at all? Will it go to Korea from Shanghai?

After a lot of back and forth, I've decided to be "profligate" (by my standards) and upgrade my year-old iPhone 7 plus to an X. I am on T-Mobile and want to participate in Iphone Upgrade Program as I foresee this happening again next year and want the Apple Care, but it seems I can't sign up unless I go to a store. This is frustrating because I want to do in store pick up when units come up at 6 am. Has anyone had success linng up recently without arranging pickup? I want a Silver in 256 GB and to turn in my iPhone 7 plus for credit + sign up for iUP. So frustrating that we can't just sign up online or order a Verizon unit for pick up.

I guess my follow-up question is, can I arrange pick up of a phone paid in full, and then change that to an IUP order at the time of pick-up? Or can I go and get pre-approved now and then schedule a pickup online later?

Well, I was promised Monday delivery. It's already Monday over there as I type this (7:30PM Central on Sunday night). takes 7hr flight from there to AK, and then to distribution place, then trip to Dallas (where I am). I can't see how it's still going to get to me tomorrow.

Really taking its sweet time. Since it was emailed to me that it shipped Wednesday, it is still sitting in China or somewhere and hasn't moved all weekend. Apple.com says estimated delivery is Nov 20th, but UPS doesn't show anything on their end.

I'm in the exact same situation. Apple site shows delayed, but UPS still says 11/16. Arrived in Shanghai on 11/11/2017 at 11:01pm. Nothing has happened since then.

The typical path is China—>Korea—>Alaska—>Louisville—>Your nearest hub—>Your city (if you don’t live in the nearest hub). Then “out for delivery.” If you live in Dallas, then you get to skip the last step.

I’ve seen iPhone shippings during the night from Korea that are delivered the next day.

I was in the 11/17-24 group at 12:10am confirmation 10:27... Now Apple site says 11/16, so anything better than that would be nice...

History shows that it takes 2 days once they start moving out of Incheon...

Yeah. Mine hasn't even cleared ZhenZhou yet.. but UPS still says it'll be here on Wed the 15th. Apple has never missed a delivery for me in 10 years. I couldn't care less what my tracking info says. My phone will be here exactly when promised - Wed the 15th.

Y'all ever hear the old saying "a watched pot never boils".. ??

For goodness sake, take a Zoloft, or a double shot - and relax. Watch some old movies. But put down your UPS My Choice app...... I'm serious... put it down.

This is solid advice. But so much easier said than done.

I work from home, and since I'm on the computer almost all of the day anyway, it's super easy for me to just have another tab open. :)

Mine was the same as yours (no update since weds 7:40 pm at Incheon), until the recent review clearance this morning. The morning update changed my Monday delivery to an “information unavailable” delivery date...

Just noticed mine changed from delivery Monday to..

Scheduled Delivery:Scheduled delivery information is not available at this time. Please check back later.

Gah. That's the UPS site. The Apple site however, changed from the 13th to the 16th. Will have to wait and see what UPS site says tomorrow (if anything).

Been sitting in Incheon since Wednesday at 7:40PM. :(

Same with mine. Been in Incheon since Wednesday 7:40. UPS changed from Nov. 14th to delivery info not available. However Apple still shows the same date it had up before of November 17th.

Originally Apple told me Nov 17-24. Then when it actually shipped, it changed to 13th. Now on the night of the 12th, it changed on ups site to ???, but the Apple site now says 16th. Who knows now?

My phone has been in ZhengZhou, since the 8th. At the moment, it's been close to 4 day.

Not only can I not see it delivering the 14th, as UPS suggests, I don't think it will make the 17th, as Apple suggests.

My phone got into Kentucky from Shanghai early this morning but looking on FlightAware I don't see any outbound flights to PHX in the next couple days so it will be interesting to see what route it takes and if the 16th estimate will hold up.
