First phone landed in AK. The original estimate was the 14th from UPS but has slipped to 11/16 over the past few days on quantum view. On the main tracking it says date unavailable. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets delivered tomorrow.

Second phone has cleared in Shanghai but no departure yet. Hopefully it goest to AK and not to Icheon backlog. Original date was 11/16 when it shipped and still showing 11/16.

I am in Shanghai, and still there....since the 10th...this is getting annoying. Apple has pushed my delivery back to the 21 although UPS says I'll have it by EOB on the 16th
Strange, mine just left Shanghai about 6 hours ago. But I have no idea where it goes from here whether it is Alaska or Kentucky. But mine left Shanghai, 9:35 pm Nov 13, Monday China time (ahead of us 15 hours). I arrived in Shanghai on the 10th.

I couldn’t care less who was right. But my lady friend’s package shows it arrived into anchorage. So it did make the ups 53 flight. I’m so glad for that. Now it has three days from now. Anybody think anchorage to Southern California by Thursday is do-able?!

Mine is finally in Anchorage as well, so I’ll happily concede this one haha. If that phone has to go to SoCal, you’re golden. Mines gotta make it all the way to NC.

not to rub it in but i've had my phone now for like 1.5 days and im in love with this thing. im so glad i cancelled my order with apple and took things into my own hands! the wait would have killed me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! >.<

Mine's coming to San Diego and has a delivery date of Thursday as well. Seems do-able to me. Though it's too bad it has to go to KY before it comes to SoCal. There's a regional air hub in Ontario, CA that UPS flies to from Anchorage. But, it seems like everyone's phones going to UPS's Worldport Hub in Louisville first.

I think his is the same as mine. On the 16th but at the rate it’s going I am hoping it may arrive one day earlier. Fingers crossed.

Cool. It looks like your dates are one day earlier than my best case ones.

I’m not expecting to see any more activity on my order for at least 12-24 hours. I’ll be pleasantly surprised if it makes it out of China (hopefully with no detour to Korea) by Wednesday morning.

We’ll see.

Sucks knowing the phone was so close, only to land on the otherside of the country. Then turning around and going back. Only if this route was possible....
Everything air at UPS has to go through the UPS WorldPort in Louisville to be sorted to the destination. It's an amazing facility of how packages are unloaded off the planes and then sorted to get on other planes to the destination.

You will see that around 2-4am, there are tons of UPS feeder flights that take sorted packages to all of the destination cities from WorldPort to then be put on the trucks. But, that is a negative of the hub and spoke model!

For packages on UPS 53 (getting to Louisville ~8 PM ET) - what's the odds of delivery tomorrow (I'm in NY)?

This is what I want to know!! :) Doesn't it help that it has already been cleared in Alaska so it should just have to get sorted?

did yours get rescheduled? mine is on this same plane...it was supposed to be here tomorrow but now shows Thursday instead.

Mine still says delivery date is unavailable on UPS, was originally tomorrow. But apple delivery date is thursday.

I've driven past that facility on a business trip several years ago. It's a huge facility/airport; a huge operation !!
