I have heard from people that Apple Orders are usually shipped & received earlier than their estimated delivery dates. Has anyone experienced it?

I believe there is a good chance he would have it those few days early, but I also realize there is a risk, so I will refrain from giving you a suggestion.

I wish you luck in whatever you decide to do. Apple does usually beat the estimate, but again, I realize this is a half a world away mistake if they don't beat it this time. Hope it works out!
 
So, like several of you, I had a estimated delivery date of Nov 17-25. It shipped last Wednesday with an estimated delivery date of Nov 14 (today), then sat in Korea for 4 whole days, then finally left with an updated delivery date of Nov 16. Now this morning I see it is somehow supposed to be delivered today, but the last tracking info was that it left the DFW hub, which is only 1.5-2 hours away from me, but that means it would have to get to our local hub and then on a truck today in order to be delivered, which I don't think typically happens.

So I'm guessing worse case scenario it will be delivered tomorrow which is still better than the initial estimated delivery time.
 
Ordered phone around 4am on preorder day, received a 4-5 week delivery. Was supposed to receive phone first week of December. I received a email from Apple this morning that my iPhone is being shipped.

Did not expect that at all. Great job by Apple ramping up production this quickly.

Yes I have, my original date was Dec 11-18 then Apple moved it up to nov 17-24. But now it’s even more closer as it should be delivered tomorrow.
 
This is a fun notification to see on one's iPad. :)

It is "out for delivery" according to UPS.

Omg after not having a date since it shipped, my phone will be here today. I feel like I been waiting forever. I had the original 11/17-11/24/17

At least yours made it to Korea, mine still hasn't left China - after 4 days?! So frustrating. I've never seen such an odd UPS pattern like this before with previous iPhone orders.

My iPhone X order fell in the November 17th - 24th batch, so I guess it's technically within Apple's estimate, but my initial UPS delivery date was supposed to be 11/16. Oh well, I guess that's no longer the case!

I guess it's my turn to watch the Incheon, Anchorage, Louisville run! See if mine gets stuck too..

Mine should be here never according to UPS. It is now unavailable shipping date.
But it did update this morning lol from the original location it was at.

Wow, looks like our phones are in the same batch, scan times are a minute apart. I am assuming that for whatever reason, this batch didn't make the planned flight and has been sitting in the China sort facility. I also have no arrival date yet.

Yup, my dads iPhone has already made it into the USA. what state are you in?
 
Delivery date moved from 11/17-11/20. Still sitting in Shanghai.

Edit: just saw an export scan on my package. Maybe/hopefully will be going out on UPS77 today.

your probably on UPS 71 about 3 hours into the flight to louisville

you can match up the departure scans with flights leaving around the same time. Just so happened that my departure scan was 10.16 local that just happened to match up with UPS77 departure from Shanghai international

and might i add, the pilot is really cranking on it 100 knots faster then the flight planned speed.

Nice, thank you. Apple.com says estimated delivery 11/20. UPS shows nothing. How accurate is Apple usually? If it's on the way to Louisville and I'm in coastal SC, will it take another 6 days to deliver?

If wishes were fishes, my friend.

I do hope that a lot of the problems with earlier orders were the result of the initial shipment rush and that things are beginning to loosen up a bit.
