Hit the little carrot next or just above the latest scan and it will expand.

In anchorage. Leaving shortly like 16 minutes on UPS81.
[doublepost=1510705834][/doublepost]Well if it’s on ups81 it just left. We will see. No update on the departure scan yet.

Thanks for the karat tip. That worked!! Don't think our phones are on Flight 81.. NoDeparture scan yet.

And the next leg of the journey is Louisville Kentucky, right ?

Just got a departure scan on my phone in Shanghai. Hopefully, it'll make it out in the UPS flight that leaves in about 12 hours.

Yes. Off to Louisville. And you might be right. Systems could be behind in updating. They scan pallets at a time. And it bulk updates. The pallets don’t get broken down until worldport in Louisville

Interesting that some of ours never go through Shanghai. It seems like many of the flights go directly from ZhengZhou, China to Incheon, Korea.

There is one leaving in about 7 hours UPS 81. Might be one before that though

If mine is on the flight 81 that left a couple of hours ago… Then I might actually get my phone on Thursday rather than Friday. UPS has never taken more than one business day to get things from Louisville to Philadelphia.

Mine went from ZhengZou to Shanghai. I don't see any UPS flights from Shanghai -> Incheon, so I'm assuming that it'll go out on UPS 77 to Anchorage Wednesday morning, EST.

Wouldn't make any sense to send it to Incheon, but who knows, given the crazy delays that have been happening to some deliveries.

No. Ups reuses flight numbers. There is another flight out of Shanghai in about 7 hours using that exact same flight number.

The one your referring too just left anchorage ak enroute to Louisville

Yes it seems Apple sends product from China through Korea or Shanghai before it reaches Anchorage. Not sure why.

Yes… I understood that from your last post. I know there's one in the air… I just don't believe our phones are on it

Limit load on flights and spread out loads. It’s like load balancing on routers. Use 2 pipes instead of one. Quicker deliveries and faster service

I hope it is. I’m getting anxious. Lol.
[doublepost=1510709402][/doublepost]Just checked. I have a 3.26 departure scan. It’s on UPS81

Ah, great! Then you're out ahead of me. We arrived at AK together - but you got out on an earlier flight. My UPS My Choice still says "Arrival Scan 12:23p Anchorage AK"

Sure about that? It’s still possible we are on the same flight. My arrival scan to anchorage was 12.53 pm. About 10 minutes after UPS 81 landed.

UPS is pretty meticulous with its scans. Mine says 12:23.. but that's only a 20 min difference. You could be right.

Ordered 2 At&t 256gb space grey on the 27th at about 8am EST. Got Dec 11-18 delivery, then updated to Dec 1- 8, then had an issue and Apple updated it to Nov 30 - Dec 7 with Next Day Shipping. Order is still in progress. The wait is killing me. Almost all of my relatives and friends have their phones even though they ordered after me.

We will see. I feel that I know more about ups cargo flights then I ever wanted to know. And the fact that you can get this close to figure out what flight your package is on is kind of creepy. Based on arrival and departure scans

It’s sooo creepy, and when I show this thread to my wife, she is mortified at how obsessed people are that they try identify and actually track the specific flights. Funny thing is that if I was in your shoes and waiting for the phone to be delivered from China, I would be doing the exact same thing. In fact, I may even try calling the airport to ask about the pilot flying my plane - hahaha

Yeah. I thought I was alone in this. Then the thread that was started for the 6plus when it came out got me hooked. It was a group effort. There were like 20 of us that were on 2 flights and we would update the thread for everyone so we all didn’t have to look.

The tricky part is what happens after it reaches world port. Does your phone fly to the destination city? Does it get put on a truck and driven?

That’s where you loose it. I’m close to Louisville. I’ll probably end up on a truck to Columbus Ohio then to Pittsburgh.

The other question is. Once it hits Louisville what’s the customs clearance line look like. Will it be there for a few hours or a full day. I’m expecting my phone Thursday. UPS is expecting Friday delivery. And Apple states nov 21 delivery.

Got mine. Paid for a 2 hour window and they came 2 hours before window opened. Amazing. Nearly missed it.

Phone seems amazing, trying to sync it now. Sadly, right above the front camera, the stainless bezel was polished poorly for an entire 1/2 inch, light catches the spot constantly when using the phone and displays the flaw. Why couldn't the flaw be on the bottom or something, not right at the top near the camera? haha.

Funny that I think I have the same exact flaw on my phone

Hey.. I guess you were right... the batches just updated to the app slowly.. Just refreshed now.. and the Departure Scan from Anchorage was 3:48PM.. just a bit after yours.. Guess it IS on flight 81 to Louisville.. Cool. Apple app still says Nov '20' for delivery.. But UPS My Choice app says Nov 17, Friday. Yet.... My Choice app says up top.. delivery date estimate unconfirmed.. I've NEVER seen this with a carrier of a package from Amazon or ANYthing EVER like this. Apple.. is pulling strings with these carriers.. you can count on that.. Somehow Apple wants certain batches to end up in certain places at certain times.. There just seems to be no rhyme or reason to it.. So damn weird..

Apple is clearly not fulfilling iPhone X orders in first come first served order. I pre-ordered at launch (2-3 week estimate), and my package is still sitting in China (for 5 days now). I have two friends who pre-ordered many hours (and days) later, had 4-5 and 5-6 week estimates, and their iPhones 'shipped' a couple of days after mine, and theirs are already in Alaska and in the US (and are arriving tomorrow and Thursday). How can this happen? What would make their orders (and packages for that matter) move passed my order, which was ordered (and shipped) first? While I am glad they are getting their phones early, I am annoyed that Apple is moving up orders with later dates, and for some reason, leaving earlier orders behind. If it's UPS picking up pallets at random, then they should be forced to follow order dates as well.

It depends. My phone has been in Louisville for coming up on 72 hours now. Others spent about 2-3 hours there before going to their nearest hub. Seems to be no rhyme or reason to what they are doing. Hope you have better luck than me.

Edit: sorry for messing up the quote format

Well, are you all ordering the exact same color, storage, and carrier phone? Remember there are two different color options, with two different storage options and the 4 different carrier options (don’t you dare argue just 2 because of the GSM option vs CDMA/GSM as the carrier phones have to have a carrier SIM card inserted so Verizon and Sprint are not pulling from same stock). That could be your answer ;)
