The 6 am restocks have not been happening in my area this week (the last time was Sunday). So frustrating! I didn't order on Sunday because I wanted to do iUP and the store wouldn't let me do it online for T-Mobile. I then went to a store and confirmed that if I did buy a unit full-price, they could transfer it to iUP for me, but no units.. and a lot of lost sleep! Wonder what's going on with the supply. (Obviously know it is backed up for online orders, but even so there used to be a few units restocked almost every day).

There was stock this morning, and in NYC there is still availability showing. Did you grab one this am?

Just got my ship notification. Est delivery was originally first week of December, now that it's shipped it's showing as 'Delivers November 27.' Do they really take a week and a half to deliver?

I’m in the same situation and I have the same question.

Ok, for all those with Dec delivery dates hoping it will be much sooner.... I just had Apple clarify the "2-3 weeks", those are shipping dates and your order shows delivery dates. Just saying that if you're hoping to order and receive an X in 2-3 weeks you're more than likely in for a disappointment. Depending on the model it could still be as long as 5 weeks from order to delivery. That's based on a discussion with them today.

After sitting in China for 5 days (with several scans in ZhengZhou), my iPhone X has only just now made it to Korea - just one scan 'Arrival'. I know that there were others here in the same batch, so I guess the good news is that our iPhones aren't lost.

I was hoping that the UPS tracking system simply wasn't updating and that it would arrive today, as estimated when it 'shipped' from China on 11/10, but that's clearly not the case!

I do not understand why some packages/orders are moving at a snails pace, while others are just whizzing by. I am so glad that I got my order in a 3:07am EST on the pre-launch - that really paid off. Like I said, friends with the same exact phone and carrier will get theirs today and tomorrow, and they ordered days after me, and had 5-6 week estimates.

Thanks, UPS, for completely killing the new iPhone order tracking and delivery buzz.

Current status of my X. It's coming to Philadelphia. Expected delivery date is 11/20, but I actually think it's quite possible it could be here tomorrow 11/17; anyone else think that's possible?

10/27 order still stuck in China. Anybody know what this status with UPS actually means?

  • ZhengZhou, CN
  • 11/14/2017 9:20 P.M.
  • Your package is in transit. We're updating plans to schedule your delivery. / The package will be forwarded to a UPS facility in the destination city.

A lot of you have been talking about restoring from backup to your new phones.. and though I know it's a REAL pain resetting up a phone - you really should ALWAYS Set Up as New to any new phone. There are little corruptions of data that can happen going from one Firmware to the next major firmware level. Especially if your last restore was from iOS 10.. coming to 11. If your last restore was already on 11... less worry... still not a great practice.

But I help out people with their iPhone issues for a side job - and 9 times out of 10 where there's some slowness or weirdness in a person's iPhone - a full "restore/set up as new"- solves everything.

IF you MUST do any restoring - do it from an iCloud restore only. Never from iTunes itself which saves more data.

Remember to always back up your photos to iPhoto on your computer. The only thing you lose setting up as new is gaming data, and open chat sessions and camera roll.

Resetting up calendars, contacts, email accounts, though a pain, is just safer and all in cloud .

So, "kick the restore habit" !!

.. SET UP AS NEW - always!!

You’ll lose Apple Watch workout data if accomplishing a clean restore.

Yep, mine arrived in Korea at 7:30pm yesterday. Received an updated delivery date from UPS saying it’ll be delivered on 11/21 instead of the original date of 11/16. So we’re talkin 11 days in transit...

It is possible but unlikely. What was the data when your phone first shipped? Did it show 11/17? One I have coming today started with 11/16 and bounced around until it got to the hub in Kentucky on 11/14. Same morning arrival but didn't go out the next day. It went out a day later 11/16 for delivery.

Select change delivery and see if the 17th is available. If it only shows the 21st in the change delivery date then it is likely going to arrive on the 20th.

I clicked the “Change Delivery” button on ups.com and selected 11/17 as a delivery date for $5. Highly doubtful it’ll actually work, but there’s a disclaimer that they will only charge the $5 if delivered on the selected date. So why not

I've always had an 11/20 delivery date, no movement. But it did go through China and Alaska rather quickly. Also, there is no option to change delivery date to the 17th.

Does UPS deliver on Saturdays?

Not for the cheaper service apple ships with. They only do it if they missed the Friday delivery and it was the last day of the 5 day shipping promise.

ugh, sorry to hear about this disaster. same story here but i cancelled my order last friday bc i could not take seeing "order in progress" for one more day after seeing it for almost 2 weeks straight. i lucked out and found a store by me that had them in stock.

anyway, i wish you all the best and the words of solace i can give you are that the phone is definitely worth the wait. hands down, without any hesitation, worth the wait.

Mine was just released by the clearing agency in Louisville. I’ve tried changing the delivery date to tomorrow, but my delivery is still tentative for Monday. Hopefully I didn’t just waste $5.

Looks like ours are were on the same plane from AK to KY. No movement yet, other than an arrival time stamp. Was 11/17 for delivery, but was changed to 11/20 the other day on UPS tracking.

Wife just called and said her phone was just delivered. Apple's website still shows delivery scheduled for the 21st.

None at 6 am in my area (Los Angeles), or at least I didn't get any notifications. I didn't set an alarm this time as I've been tired, so some may have come up. I did check around 6:15 and there were none and no email notifications from istocknow. One in my preferred (256GB Silver T-Mobile) came up at the store near my work location around 9 am but I was on the road and couldn't check out in time. Well, hopefully this weekend..

Thank you very much! Yes, the anxiety will disappear once it's in my hands. I am running to the Apple Store Grand Central now to pick up an Apple leather folio case (to hold me over until my Vaja arrives). That should distract me...

X set to be delivered 11/20, but there's stock in my local store. So I just ordered that to be picked up today and then set up a return for the one ordered and shipped.

Surprisingly, Apple and Verizon were both very okay with this and there's no problem even though I ordered both on the same number. (also surprising because for both I set it up for IUP).

Am I crazy though because I don't want to wait 3 days? Maybe.

good looking! May return my glass+ for that sapphire defense.

1. No

2. Did you sign up for the iUP this year, or were you an existing iUP’r?
