Mine is now in "waiting for clearing agency" status as of 6am yesterday morning. This status lasts 1-4 days based on what I've seen in this thread. Oh well. I'll try not to obsess.

The delivery process is so much earlier here in the UK, none of this shipping from Asia none sense!

Well, finally got fed up with more UPS delays and seeing stock come and go at my local Apple stores. Purchased a phone at full price for pick up later today. Hoping to transfer it to my iUP account and cancel or return the phone that’s on its way. Amazed at how much stock that’s available in-store this year.

Well - looks like more and more of you are getting your phones in due course or cancelling preorder and going to a store.

It’s been ‘fun’ for another year hangin with u folks! But time for me to rejoin my jailbreak forums hoping for one to come soon! A stock Apple phone is just boring. Gotta change those icons.. yuck!! And icon square positioning!! Yuck! :).

Thanks, TimeSquareDesi for nominating me Thread Mayor. There are actually loads of folks here with as much and more experience than I️. I’m just the most “verbal”.. ..

Hope the rest of u get your phones soon!! ‘Til 2018, peace out, all !!

Happy Holidays!!

Cheers Mayor! Nice having you on this obsessing thread. Thank you for the tips and hope you get your phone jail broken as a Christmas miracle!

Good to know, I figured it'd be a huge process to cancel a preorder and pick one up in-store since we'd have to deal with the whole loan thing. Phones were actually in stock at my local store last Saturday but I passed.

I think we're on this flight. I just got a departure scan out of Incheon at 7:15am: http://flightaware.com/live/flight/UPS97

Yes, I got the same scan... it's currently sitting in Anchorage with an 8:26pm arrival scan - that was the last update. At least it's finally out of Asia, after 6 days of sitting still! Hopefully it'll make it's way to the KY hub today for a Monday delivery (to NYC burbs). Mind you, there is still no delivery date (it went from 11/16 to 11/17 to 11/20 to 'TBD').

I wonder how UPS determines which packages are left behind and which ones move forward, because they are not being shipped in any kind of date order. Our iPhones were sitting in China with countless others on the same day they were marked as shipped, but for some reason, this batch was held, while others (with later order dates) shipped and have been received.

I know, I know, I need to get over it already. :p It's just baffling to me. I've purchased countless MacBooks and iPhones throughout the years and have always seen them all move from China to New York within a 5-6 day time-frame, with the exception of random interruptions like bad weather and holidays. This is definitely a first for me.

Hey everyone. So one of our phones went to Korea. Will it still hit Anchorage or could it go directly to Louisville?

The journey is typically China -> Korea -> Alaska then to Kentucky where they are all sorted, then distributed to your local UPS hub.

you dont need to get over it - it sucks paying through the nose for something that people are getting locally today. i would be furious if this happened to me. and i understand about the volume of orders and the shipdate being from 17-24 but the fact that you ordered so early should mean you get it in your hand earlier! no excuse for this.

I think it really depends. My shipment didn't wait on agency clearance and continued on its way while clearance was in progress. For me, the clearance process started in China and didn't complete until after it was in Louisville.

Me too! Watched my pre-order go from China to Korea then back to China again with no tracking info available. My Apple store got them in stock this morning, said no problem- just return the other one when it eventually arrives.

X set to be delivered 11/20, but there's stock in my local store. So I just ordered that to be picked up today and then set up a return for the one ordered and shipped.

Surprisingly, Apple and Verizon were both very okay with this and there's no problem even though I ordered both on the same number. (also surprising because for both I set it up for IUP).

Am I crazy though because I don't want to wait 3 days? Maybe.
[doublepost=1510938097][/doublepost]You are not crazy! After reading your account, I am doing the same thing—I am now standing in line to pick up my iPhone X at the Apple Store. I reserved it online. I will deal with the other one that is still in Louisville later.

Still no T-Mobile iPhone Xs anywhere in the Los Angeles area (and I have been setting the alarm for 6 am). I saw them all over the East Coast and Midwest but not here. Getting so antsy.

Apple store near me received shipment for Verizon Model 256 GB SG Last Sunday, Wednesday and Today. Looks like Apple is catching up quickly but scalpers are out there trying to deplete stock. Regardless, I was able to snag one at the apple store as a walk in. Gotta be there very early as they tend to get in line. Apparently mine was made on 11/13/17

I went to one of the Apple stores here in Las Vegas this morning at 9:15 am. I was the first one there. Someone else joined me about a minute later. We had both been previously told to show up before they open and we could get one of the phones that get delivered to them daily--but they don't know what they will get, so it's still a gamble. Well about 5 minutes later one of the workers came outside and said that the phone being delivered today had already been sold. I asked how that was and he said that people have been lining up AT 5 A.M. and that someone from the store took their names at 9 a.m. and they then left, to return later when the phones arrive.

5 A.M.!!!! No offense to anyone here if you would do that but I think that's just crazy. I came home and ordered from the Apple app on my phone. Delivery date says week of 12/11/2017. Of course I would prefer to have one now but 5 a.m.??? No.

I preordered my iPhone at 2:15 central on launch morning as a new iUP plan. Was given the 17-24th window.

Phone shipped on 11/10 and was given a delivery date of 11/16. Phone then sat in China for 5 days and I got multiple delivery delay notifications. UPS finally updated my delivery date to 11/21.

My local Apple store had stock this morning so I picked one up today. They were able to put it on my new iUP loan without doing another hard credit check (I did have to go through the application process again though) since the loan applications are good for 30 days.

I’ll just return the other phone that’s on its way. There was no problem with Verizon since the other phone was never activated.

Moral if the story, of you see stock at your local store, go and grab one

Received an email and text about an hour ago that my iphone is preparing for shipment. Ordered at 8 am on 11/3? Was given a delivery dates of 12/10-18, that moved up to 12/1-8? Now it say it'll be delivered on 11/28.

Mine was mid December than bumped to December 1st - 8th. I hope mine gets shipped soon.

I had the same December 11-18 on preorder day (later in evening). After Launch mine bumped to December 1-8. Yesterday 11/17it went to "Preparing for Shipping". I checked yesterday night and it showed "shipped" and had a tracking number. UPS Worldwide Expedited is supposed to be 3-4 days from Asia. We will see!

Sitting in ZhengZhou...

UPS says it will be delivered on 11/22. If it is still in China today, will it make the 22nd?

My phone is not supposed to arrive until Monday, but its already in my city. Does anyone know if I can find which UPS facility it is in and pick it up from there? Theres no early Pick-Up in delivery options, and I know its only the weekend, but the fact that the phone is like 15 min away is killing me.
